The fire spread through the grass. Granted, I was using a fire shout, but it definitely spread through the grass.

I’ve tried everything to get in there, it just isn’t possible without the quest of mods

@@monkyk1ngapparently there's an invisible wall around the entire place until you start the quest to do it. Even if you used no-clip to get in, deactivating it will just push you right back out. The devs REALLY wanted that one specific part of the game to work as intended, which is a bizarre amount of care for a Bethesda game.

Except it probably wouldn't be a mistake if he did it 😂.

If you use fire spells you can burn the hives by mistake. or maybe it's a bug.

_Sometimes when trying to burn the hives at Goldenglow Estate with a torch or a single-shot fire spell (like Firebolt and Fireball), the hive won't catch on fire the first time and may require that you hit it multiple times before it starts to burn. This may cause Brynjolf to act as if you had burned more than three hives, however, and result in your not getting paid even though you only burned three. To avoid this, try using the Flames spell as it seems to work more effectively_ From the UESP quest page, listed as a Bug

I actually just did this I found the sphere thing in the ruins and then I wanted to get an elder scroll so I looked it up and when I went to the librarian you just have to talk to him and he says like normal stuff other than he doesn’t think you’re actually doing it but maybe it was what I said to him just talking idk

​@@Sykes-YT Literally did this yesterday too!! (Small world 😁❤) and yep complete agreement absolutely no dialogue change, I think he greeted me as arch mage like when I walked up to him, but the dialogue itself seemed as if I could've never met him before

I did this in Whiterun. They hide in the house, if you go in they're cowering with their hands on their heads yelling as if they're being directly attacked by something
