🗓️ DATE: 5/20/2024
🔥 WEEKS IN: 6
⏳ WEEKS REMAINING: VARIABLE
🔥 WEIGHT: I woke up this morning at 193.1
⚖️ MACROS: Will be consuming between 3,000-4,000 calories this week. I may allow myself a higher day as a refeed once a week.
💪 BODYFAT PERCENTAGE: My personal InBody is showing 15.6%
🏋️‍♂️ STRENGTH MARKERS: Strength is definitely still trending up. However, I’ve noticed that when I consume a bolus of protein, my joints hurt more which has made recovering from the heavy lifts a bit more challenging.
💦 CARDIO: I am staying at level 15 on the stairmaster for 25 minutes once a week. I have incorporated a weekly trail run of about 1 - 1.5 miles over a technical terrain and I’ve enjoyed that.
🚽 GI IMPLICATIONS: No issues.
🧂SODIUM: Around 8,000 mg/day. Potassium has been around half that intake.
🍽️ THIS WEEK’S STAPLE FOODS: Sticking with 1 full Keto Brick a day. I’ve thawed out some pastured chicken so I plan on having that. I’ve gone with a rotisserie chicken setup and there is a bit more variance in the weight of the chicken so hopefully discrepancies will average out throughout the week.
🧠 MINDSET TOWARDS IT ALL: It’s mentally challenging going from the leanest man on Earth to embracing a bodyfat around 15-16%. I feel like I’m in “beefcake” mode right now! I recognize that I can’t sustain competition levels of conditioning year round but embracing the bulk is still challenging, even for me having done this so many times!
📖 OTHER THOUGHTS: I’m enjoying my Full Body training split still. I feel like the added frequency is advantageous compared to a bodypart split. With my chest being my lagging bodypart, I will likely start incorporating a bit more chest centric movements throughout the week. This may mean simply including two chest exercises per day rather than just the one.

Oh my gosh thank you SO much for mentioning the connection between joint pain and higher protein intake - I think that is what is going on with me! Any ideas, besides lowering protein and increasing fat, on how to deal with this? It's just my knees. Thanks for a great video!

Yeah, my biggest suggestion would be indeed to change up the macros. If thats whats causing the inflammation then its got to change.

I have more joint pain at high protein. It feels like a gout attack slowly creeping in.

Oh yeah, that for sure happens! Thats why everyone should try each thing out for themselves and see where the limits are.
