Doubt:- Sir , class 11 thermal property of matter ( physics book 2 ) page 293 . Topic :- convection , I could not understand few lines of last paragraph . Last paragraph is about trade wind and theses are lines """The rotation of the earth Because of this, air close to the equator nd has an eastward speed of 1600 km/h, while it is zero close to the poles. As a result, the air descends not at the poles but at 30' N (North) latitude and returns to the equator. This is called trade wind.""" Please sir clear doubt how rotation of earth causes hot air to descend at 30° N not on poles . Thanks

Same logic gases are bad conductor of heat that's why air capture inbetween birds fethers do not allow heat of Bird to the Atmosphere and keep Bird warm😉
