I don’t know if you have done a video on MSG in fast food, and how it is designed to make you crave more and the addiction factor, but it was an eye opener for me. Also how it is listed in ingredients list on products.
Love your show. Love your great recipes. I am over 50. I've always worked out all of my life, but love sweets and that keeps the pounds from coming off. I know started IF and Keto diet for 3 weeks, so I am learning new things every day. I eat more fats now and I have seen the pounds come off (15 pounds). Here's my question: I supposedly have high cholesterol 238 and the doctor put me on meds 6 months ago and I know I have a fatty liver because of the sweets. I want to reverse this. Can you talk about the intake of fats and how it will affect people with high cholesterol? Should I keep taking the meds? I just read there was a study that these statins increase one's chances for early dementia. Thanks.
you can do this. i start fasting and it has helped tremendously. please check out the snake diet to learn about the electrolytes. wishing you all the best.
12:50 Italian/pizza - Would you consider mozzarella cheese a good protein / fat source? I'm an ovo-pescatarian and planning to go out for pizza tomorrow for dinner. I definitely plan to order a salad beforehand but their other sources of protein or not that great. I can always plan to eat my protein before I leave the house but wanted to check in with you first. Thanks!
I'm Female 5o yrs. old 5' 7 137 pound. Food is not a priority to me. I'm hardly ever hungry. I would like to tone up my mid section. Any suggestions? More water, more exercise? Should I be fasting?
Pull back from sweets INCLUDING "healthy" sweets like monk fruit, stevia, honey, fruits etc. Replace with meat and veggies, especially poultry like chicken and turkey. Also, contrary to what they keep claiming about "no spot reducing" on months where I ramp up my ab work, my waist goes down by a half an inch or even an inch. When I don't do much ab work, my waist doesn't change, maybe a half an inch if I lose a lot, but without more ab work, I lose more from my hips and thighs and little to nothing from my waist. I'm not small like you, though. I'm on a weight loss journey from 220 last August to 164 on Sunday. It should end up being 70 pounds in a year. I started tracking weight and measurements from last fall on, taking them at first every other month later switching to every month. The half inch waist losses with low ab work were all from every other month measurements, actually.
??? So confused at fasting protocols, carb levels…carb cycling while being an over 40 year old endurance runner, hiker & walker. I’ve done 24-48 hour fasts and TRE can’t seem to get things right where I don’t feel burnt out. Still got a good 40 pounds to lose
Hi I have started to change my eating habits, following your advice. Its only one week now. I have Not lost weight. But after 3 days my digestion allready improved, mich better now. And today i thought i will allow myself a little choclate, but i could not eat it, i thought it was discustingly sweet. 81% choclate now tastes delicous to me. I used too find it too bitter. Also question can i again weight from too much nuts or almondbutter, probably yes right?
I guess I'm lucky I was raised with, what I believe to be BASIC knowledge, because seeing people ask if pasta is healthy...then after saying no...they're like right right what about lasagna, or a sandwich, or pancakes...like um they're all the same reasons of NO (obviously a sandwich can be made with fat and protein but I usually opt for a salad for calories purposes and I get my carbs in veggie form
I think Chipotle discontinued the cauliflower rice. At least from what I’m seeing online and I haven’t seen it near me in store. Also, what are your thoughts on the quality of protein and dairy products/fat sources. I follow Dr. Gundry as well and he emphasized eating meats that are fully pasture raised because some people are sensitive to meat that was fed grains. He also says to avoid certain oils and to opt for higher quality ones like avocado oil and olive oil. I understand the purpose of this video is to show the best options to get if you find yourself eating out at certain restaurants. Just curious if you had any more information.
What about the people who may be eating with you? I find it very uncomfortable to hold the table responsible for MY diet. My husband especially doesn’t need to watch his weight. In fact, when he tried to support me by eating what and when I do he lost waaaay too much and now needs to gain some back. IF isn’t for everyone, obviously, and that’s my biggest challenge - to be sure he’s getting enough food while I’m trying to follow my routine.
Hi Autumn I’m new to your channel and wondering why coffee with whole milk is not as good as black coffee or coffee with half and half. Bc a plain whole milk latte would have a lot of protein wouldn’t it?
@@janedoe1981 BTW, that's probably the keto response. Make sure you're making the right decision for you if you are doing CICO not Keto. Look at their nutrition info.
You are a wealth of knowledge but you keep pronouncing tempeh incorrectly - its' pronounced tem -pay I am loving your ideas can't wait to try your smoothie
