I think to Shannon this is about right and wrong. He’s not looking into snitches character he just sees that snitch took a pay cut because snitch was informed that they were hurting for dollars. And if you missed something you can catch it a hour later because back then espn ran for hours on repeat.

It’s called going with the times. My favorite show was The Sports Reporters with Sick Schapp, Mike Lupica Ralph Wiley, Michael Wilson, Jackie MacCullum, and others. Those guys were great, with Ralph Wiley being my favorite. They added personality, but kept it extremely professional and on topic!

They could be telling the truth, but could also be lying as well? They might be sent to make him look bad to decrease his offers elsewhere if he decides to leave. Kinda like pressing him to have to sign for what they want or else. It’s hard for me to see Shannon in a bad light to people because of what he said when he left Undisputed. The Play: The reason why Stephen A. Smith is doing this ON PURPOSE and acting crazy causing disruptions is because HE WANTS OUT of ESPN ..... The play is for Stephen A. Smith to get up with 'Undisputed' and rejoin Skip and Sharpe can have 'First Take' and his 'time' to do his own thing .... so that's what I think the play is, we'll see, time will tell. The Tension: I could see how the tension is on 'First Take' when Sharpe was on the show and all of a sudden Smith was trying to out-talk him and back-hand compliment Sharpe about how Sharpe looks physically and then started comparing himself to Sharpe as Sharpe shined on the show and the other football analysts were second-rate and there was tension because doing the show they didn't let Sharpe talk and then if they had a segment, Smith would talk like for five minutes and leave like 2 minutes for someone else to talk and they'd cut people off .... Sharpe is okay but they have cut off Sharpe's greatness on that show which creates tensions but Sharpe is going to do his own thing on that show .... Smith is going to go elsewhere when the time is up to be honest, just my opinion.
