Dear sir In dc drive we have to set Field control mode it can be voltage control and current control so can you explain on which basis we can select this modes and what will happen by selecting field voltage control and field current control modes.
Field current is reduced to increase the motor speed above base speed this is called "Constant HP" when we need high speed and lower torque then field current is decreased upto minimum field current written on motor name plate in separately exited DC motors.
1)Set multimeter at DC mA 2)Open one wire of mA where you want to measure 3) Connect multimeter's 1 laed in wire you removed and 2lead at that place from where you removed the wire.
