I'm of Jamaican descent. We have a quote in Jamaica which is "Out of many, one people". Although majority class themselves has black, there are a lot of sub-cultures. One of which is "Coolie", which is a mix between Indian/black Jamaican. Kamala Harris is likely Coolie, or Jamaican Indian. However, she was raised prominently Indian as shown in images of childhood bringing. The problem is in USA, you have just black and white. In Jamaica, we have black, white, half-cast, dun-dust, china man, cha-cha man etc.
