Hey Chels, cool DIY projects. If you run into a problem with sticky labels on your projects, Walmart (or hardware stores) have a product called Goo Gone that will help you completely remove them...and any sticky residue they leave behind. It's a natural citrus product, so there's not any harsh chemicals you'd need to worry about. Hope that helps. 🖤🕷️
Yeah, I've used goo gone before, I didn't think you could use it on wood though lol so that is super helpful! Thank you!! I'll remember that for next time ☺️🖤🕷
@@StellaLiveDIY I really wish these stores would stop using such a sticky glue on their labels. I've found that if I remove labels as soon as I get home from shopping these come off easier than if I wait. I plan on getting a heat gun to remove labels or price tags with 👩🏼
Fun inspiration! If you do a light coat of gesso over the coffin key ring before you paint, it won't show the lettering. Additionally, painting the screws black as well as the edging of the tray black, might give it a more finished look? I really enjoyed the simplicity of these crafts and how inspirational they were. Thank you. 🙂
My first DIY of yours to see. It was a really nice surprise! On the key holder, you could use the same tiles, right? That might be easier than sanding and it's small. Just a thought.
