I have a few tips and secret ingredients that really take these homemade browned butter, amazing Rice Krispie treats to the next level. These take the idea of Rice Krispies to the next level.
Ingredients you need:
8 tbs butter
8 cups marshmallows + extra
8 cups Rice Krispies
1 tsp vanilla
Shortening or butter for pan
Melt butter in a pan and continue to cook until it appears bubbly and brown. It should smell nutty. Add the marshmallows and melt. Pour in the vanilla and stir. Take off heat and add Rice Krispies. Stir until well incorporated. Finally, add the additional marshmallows and press into pan. Let cool, then cut. Enjoy these super delicious Rice Krispie Treats!! :)
