As a man in his 40s these movies as a kid had a profound impact on my life particularly with regards to martial arts training, being physically fit and adopting the warrior spirit. This movie is obviously a project of love aimed at guys like me so thanks to everyone involved. Regardless hoe the movie is, I appreciate you guys making this. Also great to see so many old faces I grew up with in this. Bravo guys!!!!
This one's got the potential to be the best tournament fighting movie we've had in years. It's so great to see Kurt McKinney back in action again and having the Stan Bush music in there is the icing on the cake!
@@jeanbiroute Kickboxer Retaliation was released 6 years ago my man. That's over half a decade ago. That's exactly what I'm talking about. It's been a few years since we've had a tournament movie so I'll give this one a try.
@mujahid6986It certainly is but that does not necessarily mean it sucks. It is a passionate project and I guess few were in for the big money but to do what they love. I was attending the shots in Hamburg as an extra and it felt as if the people involved were having a good time and everyone was nice and friendly. For my part, I bought tickets for me and some friends for the premiere in Düsseldorf. And while I expect it to be a bad movie for many, I also hope it will be a fun movie for the targeted audience. It‘s certainly not aiming to be the next Citizen Kane.
A 80s movie in 2024 👍🏻 I miss the 80s Action Movies. This was my childhood time. Lady Dragon, Bloodsport, Kickboxen and many more good stuff action movies with the 80s sound. Ohu Yaah I miss it.
I saw the trailer for the last kumite and I was impressed, its like a love letter to bloodsport iam sure all the fans of the 80s action martial arts flims will love this movie, well done to the team that produced the movie. This must be the Samurai debut role. Well done, brother. I am happy for you, dude.!!!
Gives me a huge vibe of Undisputed 2 and 3 movies. But then again, Undisputed has a vibe of Bloodsport and so yeah, it looks like it's gonna be a great movie. Can't wait to see it.
I'm definitely going to support and buy a few copies and go see it at the movie theater. I always wanted to marry The Lady Dragon Cynthia Rothrock! But anyway let's go Viking Samurai, Billy Blanks! 🤜 👊🏽 🤜 👊🏽 🥋 Last Kumite yeeeah!!!
If you could Viking Samurai, maybe you can interview Cynthia Rothrock and ask why there was never a fight scene between her and Bruce Lee's daughter Shannon Lee? Because it would be pretty bad ass to see a fight scene between Shannon Lee and Cynthia Rothrock choreograph by Samo Hung.
Hello, Viking Samurai. I'm gonna watch for the fight scenes. The story looks ok, but those fight scenes look fun. I can't wait to see what your scenes are. TERRANCE OUT
Just finished this absolutely brilliant old school vibes I'm a huge van damme fan so this was amazing. Viking samurai was a beast. The music was class training on point and fight choreography was awesome. I wish Cynthia rothrock did a lil bit more martial arts wise but all good, I'll watch china o Brian to get my Cynthia fix. 😁
🥸👍 As a fan of 80s and 90s action movies and fighting games (eg: Street Fighter), I really want to watch it. Looks great! Love the music and classic vibe of the trailer🥊🔥
Hi, I'm a newbie here and I don't know if you've covered this already or not or if you're beyond this or not but I've got ideas/requests for a video/s. Could you do a video based on a countdown ranking of the 20 best action films of all time, ranked from 20 to 1, with 1 being the best, talking a little bit about each film as you go and mentioning their pros and cons and saying what you like about them/the most and what you don't like about them/the most. And rank the 10 best action films of the 1980s and the 10 best action films of the 1990s separately and in the same way. And if you can, at the end of the video do a comparison guide of/between and conclude which are and is the best streaming media service (e.g. Netflix, Paramount plus etc.) for action films out of a dozen or more streaming media services in terms of things like price and quantity of action films available, quality of action films available, variety of action films available and comprehensiveness of action films available etc. You could address/cover these ideas in three or more different videos if you want.
@@VikingSamurai I thought of a few more ideas. You could also rank the 10 best martial arts movies of all time. You could do a video on all the promising, underrated but less known and successful action stars/martial artists and why they never became well-known and more successful action stars e.g. Jeff Wincott, Lorenzo Lamas? Don 'the dragon' Wilson? Jeff Speakman? Gary Daniels etc. And if you address my media streaming idea I mentioned previously perhaps you could also talk about or comment on 'The Family Stallone' show on Paramount plus (or whatever it's on where you are) and other shows that action stars/martial artists have starred in for t.v. in the same video e.g. 'Blackjack' (Dolph Lundgren), 'Night heat' (Jeff Wincott) etc.
I was hoping there would be spectators watching the whole entire thing in the arena much like in Blood Sport. Maybe for the sequel they can get people to be the audience and act like spectators watching brutal fights - that would bring more realism to it and make the fights more hype. Also maybe for the sequel they can get New Synthwave singers to make some of the music tracks. Otherwise from the trailer, everything looks good 👍
Excellent a good throwback to living & enjoying lot of great martial legends this is the way study learn adapt build a legacy of greatness enjoy the success and keep on fighting and keep the spirit of how movie making should be done see this is something worth going to see not all this woke garbage with the same tired nagging annoying agenda over and over again keep up the good work keep up the good work this is your moment that's what's important stories to tell from generation to generation the culture war is a different war that has to be fought under different terms this however is what it Should always be about decent action decent story decent actors well done 👊
I bet AJ Bongquacker will trash this film, might even review it before watching it. I for some reason always get recommendation to his lucklaster hating channel even though I am not subbed to his lazy ass. Listen, even if I may not love the film, I still can appreciate the effort and love for this type of film and realize that not many movies of this type can be made these days. In fact none outside of Mortal Kombat 2 but it is a studio movies based on a game, this is an old school B-Movie that I grew up watching.
Next we need a prequel called "The First Kumite", showing the very first tournament ever held by the Black Dragon Society. And then also another prequel set in the 20th century, showing Chong Li becoming the champ.
