Just watch the tape. The guy has really fluid hips. He can change direction and cut at full speed. I've seen him make backs look silly.

No one is saying he isn't a good prospect. People only question taking a receiver at 31 given all the other needs. The way people are reacting to that criticism reminds me of how they reacted to the criticism of the Moody pick. It wasn't that anyone thought Moody wasn't a good prospect. We just thought taking a kicker at 99 was a reach.

20 yard shuttle is not the 20 yard split, its the back and forth drill 5 yards one way 10 yards the other and back 5 yards

Piersall has possession receiver written all over him. Brock Purdy has third down success written all over him. Kyle Shanahan has ball control written all over his game plan…..and Slick Rick is cheap for 3 years.

As I've said before, there's nothing on film or on paper preventing Pearsall from becoming a #1 WR. He's taller, quicker, faster and has better hands than Aiyuk, while his route running and run blocking isn't that far from BA's level. As a rookie.

@jessecox30 he played with the same QB that Aiyuk played with, and he had AR15 with the Gators for 1 year, and Mertz put up better numbers than AR15 ever had this last year. Qb was not the reason! Hopefully, he does well.

⁠⁠@@ragiceanerbro, his qb’s were not good on tape. It almost felt like mertz hated pearsall’s guts with all the terrible hospital balls he threw to him. He almost had him killed every single game. And the amount of times pearsall was wide open and didn’t get the ball was absurd

Sorry. The word is losers. The Niners have lost more championship games (SB & Conf. combined) than any team in NFL history. They are one more SB loss in tying the Bills & Vikings with 4 consecutive Super Bowl losses. What is worse, they have destroyed the glorious legacy of Bill Walsh.
