I love both my boost+ especially the gold one that I took off the clicking and made it floating but my jrl ff I use for little kids since it’s smaller thus more agile for those moving targets lol

man I struggle with the DFS. I have year 3 but I struggle to get my scissor work to come out consistently when I put my fingers against the scalp. Sometimes it works great sometimes it looks like garbage and I end up having to clipper over comb it to detail it. However the DFS on longer length cuts comes out fireeee.

hey sean what is the reason why your cutting the hair first above the crown is it ok to use clipper to remove the bulk instead.newbie here

the reason that barbers do the scissor work first is to ensure that you create the desired shape on top first. Then debulk the sides. If you start with debulking you could accidentally remove more length than you wanted.

Yes I cut the top first to make sure I have the length and shape i want. Nothing worse than finishing a fade, then cutting the top and it not fitting together like you wanted

I can't remember if you've ever done a video on 4 into 3 into 2 etc. For some reason, I keep wondering why you didn't just use the shortest clipper guard & go up to your baseline. In other words, I can't see a noticeable difference watching the video

Just to protect the length I wanted. The 4 is safe then I go down from there. If it’s someone’s hair I’m familiar with sometimes I go right in with a 2
