When I moved to China 6 years ago, I knew before I got there that I wasn't going to be dating a Chinese man. I lived in China for 5 yrs happily single. I'm now living and working in Tanzania and I moved here keeping caution in my mind when it came to the men here. Western women will be a 'come up' for many of the men here in TZ. But, you can also meet genuine men here, including men from some of the tribes; BUT, you have to decide if you want to completely change your life for a man/tribal man here. I witness older European women coming here to have a holiday romance with some of the tribal men here. Not everyone is or will be suited to live abroad and people who do move abroad need to exercise more caution than in their home country. Common sense and caution are imperative as it will end badly. Always remember why you moved abroad, so you can stay on track and not end up heartbroken and penniless. Asante
Never date a Gambian man or women. They are just to gain from you. Never trust them and they practices lot of vodoo. Don,t let them cook for you. They will use charm to hypnotise you. Be very carefull with them. Very manipulative.
Sister you've got one of the best shows in in the Diaspora. Most people just tell the mushy superficial side of Africa. They don't tell you the real deal, they're giving you a false dream a one sided imbalance view about reality there. How can anyone navigate with that?
Ladies coming to the Gambia to find a toy boy or a husband just be prepared to share your man as he will always have a local girl. The family will accept you because you have money to give to thier son. However , The family will expect a woman to produce children if they are to take you serious. The family is taken very seriously in the Gambia. You as a diaspora women can play with your toy boy but he will always have a local girl in the background choping your money as well. I seen it so many times. Women dont take a majority of these men serious when they declare everlasting love for you. It's just a part of the game to entrap you emotional.
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing this. It made me think about some things I had not previously with regards to looking at relationships through the eyes of a Gambian.
I am so glad I listen to this video. Very very informative. The little things we take for granted wow. I am so glad for my instincts.Keep on going deeper by explaining more of relationship customs in the Gambia.I think its very important, so we can seek first to understand before we are understood because we are the ones going there and should look to understand them first in my opinion.
😄😄😄 juju funny ..beautiful personality and very informative.. we all make mistakes its your move after that experience is the determining factor. Have the person taking responsibility if not, it wont work ..thank you for sharing
Many black mature cougars female come to Africa looking for young African men to date. Unfortunately Africa is a very family orientated country. So many mature black females can have a relationship with African men but it will not last if you cannot give those men children. So men will use them and the mature diaspora women will end up lonely. Dont forget the use of voodoo to keep a man or a woman. It is very wide spread in the gambia
I am apart of the Passport Bros movement. I came to the Gambia to get away from toxic black females of the UK. I am fortunate to have met a lovely Gambia wife and now have 3 kids with her. It has not been easy but what is in Life. One Thing about Gambia women is that they are all taught to take care of thier husbands from young . Men just avoid Any woman that frequents senegambia to settle down with. Wife material girls in the Gambia would never be seen in senegambia area. Keep up the good works sisters. Let Talk truth to power
Yes even if i argue with him i will still get up and make his cup of tea or moringa and look after him.i will marry my older Jamaican man even next world.
We are Africans n this is Africa. Dont come here expecting our men to be all western inorder to please u. we r unique in our own ways n dat needs to be respected. You are not going to find a perfect human being anywhere in this world. Have an open mind, respect our cultures n d rest will work itself out.
Thanks for this, exactly understand what you're saying. Haha, stripping off your clothes in front of some strange man is not a cultural thing! Most Gambian women are very modest, but sadly as you say, poverty causes bad choices in order to support the extended family. I saw European women get involved with Gambian men and yes, there's a Gambian wife /children in the background they didn't know about. I actually felt sorry for these women who had to take a back seat whilst "their man" was romancing a tourist. Two friends moved to Gambia to be with their man, and it ended up badly either due to the secret partner or being seen as a fool who couldn't cope with the life after easy time in Europe. Don't think different rules apply - have respect for yourself and for Gambians. Being seen with guys all the time can make women distrust you - try making friends with them and their families first, you're in their country after all. Glad you pointed out how hard life can be for Gambian women - a lot of things aren't out in the open. True about boys/men not always experiencing family affection, and being brainwashed by movies etc. Same for other men too - some only see sex as their outlet. I met some lovely people, but realised I couldn't cope with living there - poor health care, poverty, and lack of job opportunities. I'm not wealthy, so couldn't afford to buy a home and have income to support myself long term.
In regards to jigi jigi a number of women has found that they are unfulfilled sexually by local men. Don't blame the men as they are young and lack experience. Just be prepared to teach them what pushes your buttons.
It may also be the food😱 and an overdose of weed and attire😳, They don't eat stamina foods😄No Yam, Dashene, Cocoa, Dumplings, Conk, Ackee, Cornmeal and other vegetables that produces Jamaicans first class athletes 🏃♂️😁
You NEVER have other women around your husband. Clean your own house. Nip that bull the minute it happens. OR Gone over there with the women telling you that bullshit you will be poor and I would be back in the states with all the money. Choose carefully.
Greetings Vee i personally think everything is about intentions, i think if the Diaspora go with the intention of doing something to futher the progress of Africa which would make it easier for themselves giving them time to see the lay of the land and the people , also the investments by the Diaspora could actually stop the locals from wanting to travel abroad because the investments would be benefitting their lives slowly people would meet eat other on a level .
Very true indeed. If people started working together and build factories rather than individual failing restaurants and businesses that would have an impact, but the working together bit is always the problem with us🤔Why?
As with all Estates or Sellers, please do your own due diligence. When buying land or anything from someone, please make sure they have legal ownership of what they are selling first. If not you might end up in a problem if the then legal owner come back to repossess.

This story about the cook sounds very 🇯🇲. Many returning residents go weak at the knees and end up on the scrap heap having been duped by the sugar coated tongue of the predator 😂😂😂😂. Believe me they are skilled, fantastic acting abilities-Nuff said.
You are so right and there is nothing wrong with it, if you are both aware of the agreement. The issues come when you pretend to love and/or care for the person and in reality there is absolutely no love or even like involved, only money and we keep seeing this time and time again here.
I would avoid dating in Gambia or really spend a full year to get to know a person (without any sexual contact) before taking a man seriously. Why? Because most scammers can’t wear a mask that long and your emotions won’t be involved when you need to pay attention to those red flags.
@@sistersinternational779 So glad you brought up the "long con" (lol). There's one relationship on here that I noticed!!!! Won't mention the channel but it's so evident to me. Do a video on the signs of the long con to warn the ladies who are unaware of it. Don't take all your assets to Africa. Leave some assets in your "home country" just in case........
crime, the intentional commission of an act usually deemed socially harmful or dangerous and specifically defined, prohibited, and punishable under criminal law.
Listening to this and nodding all the way through. Very insightful. Life in Gambia isn't all rose tinted. Glad you are exploring these very real issues
