JC and Nat, great to see you guys 🙂. You helped me start my traveling journey back in 2019 when I started watching your channel and traveling. I am in Thailand now and have a retirement visa and have been traveling around Thailand for the last three months. Always an option as you say, not sure where I will end up but thanks for your insight over the years.

Thank you - Always enjoy your videos and happy for you and your Family. We have been in Tha Sala (NST) for most of the last 2 months. Beautiful weather and the friendliest people. Bike riding and swimming, but mostly spending time with the 6 Grandchildren. We are getting ready for 3 nights of National Park Camping - we Grandparents get the Cabin, but we may end up with full bed if the the thunderstorms come!!! 555

Well you go day to day on restricting people in Thailand mask yes you Are Still expected to wear mask lots of places including BTS TRAINS in NARA Stores etc.

The main thing that would stop me from retirement in thailand is the medical insurance, pre existing conditions, and when you get over 70 some companies won't insure you or it gets insanely expensive

I am guessing the No Insurance refers to medical insurance for visiting but there is still a requirement for Medical Insurance for becoming an ex pat. Any info on which Thai Insurance Companies will cover over 70 year olds? Thank you.

No requirement for having Medical insurance if you get your retirement visa in Thailand.

@@justinj2954 You cannot open a bank account to meet the deposit requirement without first having the Visa which requires having the insurance before making it to Thailand.
