Beholding God in the matchless splendor of His surpassing Holiness is the most humbling experience for the fallen human race. To realize that there is absolutely no comparison with the Risen Lord who alone has truly and fully Fulfilled, Exemplified, Taught and Reinstated all the surpassing Righteousness of God which to date no man has been able to replicate and none ever shall. To realize that He is the ONLY ONE to have come NOT BORN of the cursed seed of the fallen man, and what is more, perfectly in keeping with the prophesied Sign 'virgin with Child', clearly not even the woman had a role in His holy conception - the reason He went on to prove how neither Sin nor Death, least of all the Devil or schemes of men, have any power over Him. To realize, thus, having been conceived of the holy & eternal Word and the Spirit of God, He is indeed the Fullness of God revealed to us - the Word Incarnate, who Appeared, Ministered, Transfigured, Resurrected and Ascended back to Heaven in His self-same holy & eternal Flesh and with the infallible Promise that He'll Return in the like manner so that ALL will see Him and recognize Him. You see, thus begins our humbling experience and leads us on to a faithful journey lived in the holy Fear of God. Sadly, the Word 'Grace' has been so trivialized, as much by its misuse as by its overuse, that people fail to realize Grace is in fact the repertoire of God's Word - for eg. refer Ps 45:2, Col 4:6 etc., without which we would never fulfill our divine calling to be the 'salt & light' of this 'earth & world' respectively, refer for eg. Matt 5:13-14. Note the significance thereof, for only then, we will realize how dangerous it is to lose our saltiness! Therefore, just as Peter rightly exhorts us in 2 Pet 1:10, let us endeavor to make our Calling & Election sure by taking the non-myopic route and faithfully make every effort to persist in adding to our God-gifted Faith (eg. Eph 2:8), all the Goodness of God as cited in 2 Pet 1:5-9 by the careful study and diligent obedience of His Word. Remember, our flesh counts for nothing, but it is the holy Spirit of God that gives Life, and it is the Word of God that is the Spirit which gives this Life, abundant and everlasting - refer for eg. @roxannmartin3687 Pride is inherent to the fallen human race, all alike having been born of the cursed seed of the fallen man who in his brazen pride and rebellion against God chose Death over Life despite faithful forewarnings from God. The reason God reminds and testifies: "..All who hate Me, love Death." (Prov 8:36). Perhaps now you'll begin to see why literally all mankind follow on the heels of their fallen first father and continue to spurn God and reject His saving Love - the only true Love there is! And, perhaps you'll also now realize why Death is the vain scepter of power with which man establishes his evil dominion on earth. So, if you've any idea what is good for you, you'll first learn to distinguish between God and Man so that you may with immediate effect cease to follow and seek the unmerited glory of the Fallen Man and instead humble yourself and truly turn to the Risen Lord.
