I pray to God I get my high school diploma. been taking the hiset for about 5 or 6 months.math is not my strong suit. But I’m going to get better at it God is with me.
@@PurelyPersistentGod bless you I’ve been watching your videos. Algebra isn’t my strong suit, but I’m never giving up. My high school diploma is one of my goals in life. I got to accomplish it.
I think people, especially people like me, learn way better by being taught each individual subject within algebra. Like one 25 min video on slope, one 25 min video on linear, etc. all I can find on RU-vid are just long videos of everything in algebra clumped together in a test format. I’ve personally noticed that it makes it way harder to retain information.
Hey! I just wanted to say that your videos really helped boost my confidence! I passed all my HiSet exams 18/20. I was seriously scared of failing my math test but I got an 18!! Thank you so much for helping me feel more comfortable with the content of the tests. Cheers! 🎉
Wow, what an achievement! 🌟 You passed the test with flying colors! 🚀 Your dedication and persistence are truly inspiring to others! 💯 Keep shining bright! 🌟🎓
Hey, so, I'm about to do the HiSET myself; with the math section, did the difficulty of the questions ever exceed past the level of the problems presented in this video?
Thank you so much for your videos on math! I just took the GED math test, and I passed with a score of 151. Now all I have to do is rla and social studies.
Wow, what an achievement! 🌟 You passed the test with flying colors! 🚀 Your dedication and persistence are truly inspiring to others! 💯 Keep shining bright on those last tests! 🌟🎓
Hi! Love the way you teach , so energetic and patience. I stay to the end of all your videos. Thanks for being gifted and giving your time to pour you teaching to the world. I'm currently taking my math hiset.
Hello, I adore your videos, and resource work sheet. For Problem #2) on your worksheet if you do it first there are no options for c) -2x+14. its option A) 12x+10 B -6x+14, C) -2x+5 and D 8x+1. This caused me to redo the problem over and over again trying to solve. Just wanted to give a heads up. Finally I watched your video and took both resources and compared to determine the correct answer wasn't on the worksheet! only bringing up to make you aware. I adore you and your course and its been extremely helpful to brushing up on my math skills! xoxox
You are so kind; thank you. I am human, so I make mistakes. I appreciate you pointing out my mistake in a kind way (most people throw hate when I make a mistake). I will correct the error. Also, I am sorry for the stress that this caused you as you worked through the problem over and over again.
That’s what I was co fused about. But usually when there are answers that can be simplified, you would simplify them? I’m not sure if that applies to this question but that’s what I’m assuming.
You're so welcome! You are not alone; math is tricky for most people. When my students need a little extra help, they do this program; it's 💲inexpensive and 🚀efficient! bit.ly/quickgedhiset Believe in yourself like I believe in you! 🌟
Hey! Why on #14 it’s -8 if you said that, at the end you have to subtract on both sides and the answer is -2 but if you add the result it’s -8 can you please do a review on the one .
I am confused about number 7. I think B is correct. You calculated (B) -4x+21 but you circle C I am going to take GED math test next month. Thank you for your video.
i am loving your videos so much and i thank you for them... upon going over this one a second time i cant help but notice on number 3- isnt 5x5=25? how would that cancel out? you dont go into too much explaining on that side.. you just jump to 5x8=40 them move on.... i apologize. i just want to be given the correct information to move on with confidence.
Let me try my best to explain it. It's not 5x5. Instead, it's 5 times a fraction where the denominator is 5, therefore this becomes 5 divided by 5, the reason that canceled out. The rule is that when you multiply a number by a fraction and the denominator of the fraction is the same number, then it will cancel out. For example 3(5/3) =5 because the 3 canceled out with the denominator. Do you understand it better?
@@PurelyPersistent you'd think so if have to get 8of 20. But I saw where some questions are worth more and some less depending on difficulty of the question
hey, my name is Faith & Im 18 years old; i need help..ive already taken the math practice test twice, once i scored 139, this time 138 (i got worse by one credit), i really need to pass this, i feel guilty about this bc my dad is paying for my tests so every time i fail, it comes out of his pocket, i need to know how to better understand these problems, ive been out of school for a while now, im having to cram 4 years of math into less than 3 months, is there ANYONE out there who’s willing to help me better understand this subject? i know a bunch of people struggle with it; they say its the most difficult subject on the actual GED tests.
Hey there, chin up! 😊 Being close to passing is still an achievement! 🎉 Keep going; you're on the right track! 🌈 Also, I suggest trying out Essential Ed - it's budget-friendly 💵 and super effective! 👍 bit.ly/quickgedhiset
Not at this time... Sorry! However, when my students need a little extra help, they do this program; it's 💲inexpensive and 🚀efficient! bit.ly/quickgedhiset Believe in yourself like I believe in you! 🌟
i try doing these on my own and i just cant seem to understand what opposite operation i need to do... ill think im getting it correct then i watch you find the answer and instead of dividing towards the end youll subtract.... 😭
