Hello friends!!! Today I bring you a new build, this time it is a Colnago Dream from 1997, which has been assembled with a campagnolo record 9v titanium groupset. A true marvel, I hope you enjoy this video just as I enjoy when I make them.

Hola amigos!!! Hoy os traigo una nueva construcción, esta vez se trata de una Colnago Dream de 1997, la cual a sido montada con un grupo campagnolo record 9v titanium. Una verdadera maravilla, espero que disfruteis de este video igual que disfruto yo cuando los realizo.

Esas son las bicicletas que me hacen retomar el ciclismo otra vez, con 66 años que tengo, las veía en los años 90s y más en los equipos profesionales en el Tour, Giro y Vuelta máquinas que no tienen que envidiar a las anodinas bicicletas de hoy.

FELICITACIONES, hermoso trabajo!!!!! Puedo decir que soy un horgulloso propietario de una Colnago Dream Art Decor 1998, la cual pude comprar luego de muchos años de desear una cásica y de amar el estilo de Colnago. La compré en agosto del 2019 en Alemania y luego de mucho esfuerzo (reparar detalles de pintura, compra de repuestos y reemplazo de partes correspondientes al grupo que trajo - Dura Ace 7800), la envié para que me la armen hace una semana. Espero quede tan hermosa como la del video. Nuevamente FELICITACIONES!!!

I really like this channel. For whatever reason, many of the others spend 5 minutes showing the bars being wrapped and literally one second of the completed bike at the end.

@@bamicus9342 same here I still have plenty of the 1st gen. TIME magnesium and Titan pedals (with the plastic clip in the back that likes to fall off if you take a corner too steeply) If you can swap out the steel pedal axle with the titanium axle the weight savings will be tremendous!

Impresionante!!! Los que vivimos muy de cerca el ciclismo en los 90 sabemos que esa máquina era un sueño cada vez que la admirábamos en alguna revista o catálogo. Yo no me quejo, ahorré peseta a peseta y pude darme el capricho de una Zeus con cuadro Columbus y grupo Campagnolo Ergopower, que para el año 93 era la *stia bendita!! 😂 Enhorabuena por el maravilloso trabajo, sigue así!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This is the ONLY frame that would stop me getting a custom fitted one made. The Colnago Dream is virtually flawless in it's intrinsic beauty; the problem is that you can't let anyone go past you 😀

Hola amigo mío, me alegro de ver tu último excelente trabajo. Siempre he admirado las bicicletas Colnago, y habría buscado tener una si no fuera por mi edad, y necesitando un bastidor de paso bajo como lo permite mi Moulton. El problema con la gama Moulton AM fabricada a mano con neumáticos 369 es que hasta hace poco sólo estaba disponible el terrible Schwalber Kojak. Ahora el Bridgestone 369 vuelve a estar disponible, pero es muy caro.

What happened to the lugs on that frame? Are the titanium tubes welded together?

Hi Jennifer!!! This frame does not have connecting lugs, they are welded directly to the tube, if that is what you mean. To your second question, the tubes are welded as I told you directly tube to tube, but they are made of aluminum, not titanium. Greetings and thanks for leaving your comment ; )

Why use a torque wrench? Mechanics never used them until 10 years ago. Just tighten bolts down by feel.

Hi friend!!! You're right. I prefer not to go overboard with the tightening, if they did not use them before it is because there were no low torque dynamometers. Many bicycles come to me to repair that have the threading screws and it will be for a reason. If I have it, why not use it. Don't you think? A greeting and thanks for comment ; )
