There's little stops for the handles so you can go full speed and it will run straight. I backed my stop all the way off and then just adjusted the other one until it drove straight. Went way quicker that way.
I was just getting ready to buy this mower thanks for the help don't worry about the haters in the comments have fun in everything in life god bless bud
Was just delivered a 2023 Ikon 42 inch. I bought from a dealer and it is definitely different from this one. Probably a reason not to buy from the big blue box.
because 2023 is an all new design believe the one he is showing is 2022 you can get either one from the dealer or big box only difference is the dealer ones are generally assembled much better and you support a local business owner which of coarse is a good thing
I for sure understand the dangers of buying big box but it's not always true that local is any better. I have seen dealers who are arrogant and use this perspective to justify their higher prices. I have even seen a lot of local dealers doing the same crap that the big stores do like leaving machines in the weather 24/7 causing cracked seats faded colors etc. not convinced their service will be any better. The bottom line is that yes most big box will have clueless or careless people assembling and caring for the machines but at the same time a lot of local dealers are just dishonest salesmen who will squeeze every cent they can from you. If you find a dealer you can trust then that is a blessing.
I have had that machine for years now. You're using way too much choke. Full choke, crank for maybe a second and drop the choke entirely. Fires up immediately
i just quit the assembly plant where these are built.. the choke and throttle cables are so far off its not even funny. ppl dont really care much when they assemble these things,, they are forced to build 100 per shift at $22 an hour.. to be honest i didnt give a dang if i made a mistake or not at that wage!! Half the people at work came drugged out of their minds
