All these protests are way out of control , there no need for it around the horse guard at all. They did the right move of shutting it down for safety.
its down the street from Downing Street, where the Prime Minister works, so they think that they will demonstrate to him their wishes....there...but its all locked down too...good to take in the horses, because its all just noice.
The tourists spend a fortune to a have great weekend in London, they have no idea of the demonstrations- just many British do not know and everything is shut down. I feel sad and sorry for them. I hope they get out of that area very soon.
In England and Wales, the right to protest is protected under the European Convention of Human Rights. No permit is required. This, however, does only apply to peaceful protest.
People in London or anywhere else does not have the right to tell another country what to do....they need to mind their own business and let Israel run their country as they see fit. No matter how much people protest Israel will do as the see fit so all these people are doing is wasting their time and others
As all of this is in the past now, I think you'll find that decisions were made fairly quickly. For safety issues, no announcements are made and knowing how the situations is in London, its pretty obvious why a shutdown was made. Looking at the expressions on some of the police officers faces, I can't help feeling they would have preferred it to have taken less time.
It's not a show for your benefit! You don't need to know anything. too many tourists seem to think our Kings guards are a bloody tourist attraction rather than serving soldiers.
