you want to pet a spooked horse, just stop it! Armed Officer Told Her Off for Not Being Attentive. thanks to this Armed officer for being extra vigilant
Yes the police have to be more sturdy especially to the idiots that don't listen. Its people like that who don't listen and don't have respect for other people's property or culture,it makes it not a good experience for others in such a huge crowd because we have to witness the ass holes rude behavior to everybody especially the authorities
MY BLOOD IS BOILING ........Leave the horse alone, he is working for the King, actually those people who touch the horse should spend a month in prison then they will learn what respect is... King's Guard respect what you do, thumbs up
I always say those areas should be roped off. As the son of a guard who was stationed in Rome, it angers me to see all of these tourists and morons causing trouble.
It’s all to do with tactics. I have to admit they are a pain in the ass. Simple answer , the police know when these events are to be , withdraw the horses for the duration
@@bobgreen2460 NO you do not withdraw the Kings guard! There should be a permit that was applied for for this march, and it should have been routed elsewhere
I think they need to go home and deal with all the issues in the country a different way than protesting and upsetting the horses and guard. Go get a real job people and knock off the stupidity.
I think for the well being of the horses, and the guards on their backs, they should put a white line like they use to keep people back in the courtyard to keep people at a safe distance from the horses. I feel sorry for the horses being poked by so many people each day. It would spoil it for the well behaved caring folks but those horses and guards put up with far too much from tourists.
They could put a sign saying do not pat the horses and I agree with a square around the front and sides of the horses 2 foot to the side and 2 foot at the front of the horse and 5hat 8s as close as they can get. The other things a sign saying if u have a fear of horses don't come to close. 5hey way most of them come up to the horse and throwing there hand back and forth and arms up it naturally will spook the animal. Can still get a good picture without rushing at the animal and touching it. These animals have to endure a lot from the public. There could be a more orderly way of getting a photo without dozens rush at and crowding the horses
Is there any reason why protest marches can’t be diverted to other routes? The horses have enough to put up with,as it is, from self-absorbed , boisterous, often stupid or reckless tourists, without the deafening din and high-pitched sound of whistles, amplified voices, sirens and other loud traffic noise. All the guards are trying to do is their job, but I really feel for them and their mounts.
Friggin protesters just themselves so obnoxious. The guards and their mounts have enough to deal with, without the protesters. I think both guard and mounts do a superb job, all day; every day. 👍👍
they don't, i mean come on, it just sounds ridiculous to say that🤷🏼♀️ to be fair, for some of them just being there is unbelievable, (i bet they would sum the experience up as majestic) then add the fact that it is the home of a true King, true royalty, add to that that it is a contreversial royal family, add to that you can't never tell when a member of that royalty just may sneak out long enough to give you a wave, enough for anyone that adores this family & their reign, the Guard is what a tourist 9 x out of 10 will definently see & it's the best they'll get 9 x out of 10, the desire to touch something of it is understandable, it isn't like going to your favorite bands concert, it is a King!! the Guard also brings alot of it on themselves bc they do break away from the strict norm to accomodate a tourist that wants a photo with them, saw one let a girl kiss him on his cheek, as long as that keeps going on & publicized you may as well get used to tourists trying touch these Guards or their horses🤷🏼♀️ they almost literally just can't help themselves bc of what being there IS❤ i think it is important to keep in mind that just bc tourists do not live in Europe doesn't mean their fondness for the place is misplaced just bc they reach out & touch them❤ & frankly Europe thrives on tourism just like any other country so...to be clear, i agree they should never touch them or paw at them, & fondness is no excuse to look over the facts that they are on duty, & that back in Queen E the 1's reign nobody was pawing at the Guard just bc they were there, they are to be respected, try not to think tourists are over there & doing this bc they're trble makers, they are simply absolutely astonished & hopefully honored to be there❤
i laugh at those going in to calm or soothe the horse during the minute they’re standing there 😂😂 and the horse is thinking quit touching me, leave me alone
@@gemmalynn536Quite agree, they are overwhelmed and the silly laughs are also nervous laughter. They can’t believe they are seeing all this. I think a little kindness and understanding is needed. After all, these tourists bring big bucks to the country and an opportunity for the monarchy to display the ceremonies and traditions.
Why csnt thry just take a pic and admire how beautiful and stoic the horse and guard look. The uniforms are magnificent and the horses are godly so beautiful.❤❤❤❤
I don’t understand these protesters I believe in the right to PEACEFULLY protest not blow whistles to intentionally cause trouble probably knowing horses would get spooked Now the poor horses on edge and in come the IDIOTS! No respect or common sense! Maybe they should have cardboard props for pics and ten foot barriers around horses!
I would love to go and see them how proud and majestic the horses are .The Kings guards look magnificent. I can't understand some tourist acting as they do disgusting people
We have been reduced to a nation of yes men, afraid of what the media say, let's get real with these people and get our dignity back. Let's stop being followers and lead our country, being brought down by free loaders. 😮
It seems like certain streets could be closed off to noisy groups on foot. In some counties in the US you have to get a permit to gather as a group . It works out quite well because extra law enforcement is assigned to keep it orderly and safe
@@Roheryn100 I understand them being entitled to be there. I understand the importance of being able to protest, I just wondered if there wasn't another street that they could use. If not, then I suppose they will keep doing it there, I just was concerned about the horses and the possible injuries the tourists could suffer from the horses being upset. Thank you for your reaction.
Easy solution - protestors walk quietly past the horses. When at a sensible distance they start the noise again. It’s a very short distance to move quietly. The group in the video was protesting about their right to keep bulldogs. If they love animals, it’s surprising that they don’t seem to care at all about the horses.
The horses are trained to ignore such noises. Besides just living in a major urban environment with all it's noise, they have to be able to perform with yelling crowds and bands while on parade. If you pay attention in the video, the horse on the left is ignoring it.
As most of these people assume that the guard and the horse are photo props then they should be charged for the privilege of having there photo taken with them that may change there behaviour or even make them think twice about there behaviour and show some respect
feel badly for the horses being touched all the time and the guard trying to keep them calm.. can't their be white line/chain/to get the message across?
I’ve not been to London for many years, and was thinking of planning a day out there soon, but honestly, seeing these videos and various others recently, I feel like it’s a very hostile place these days. Idiots disrespecting the King’s Guards and their beautiful horses, chavs protesting against the (hopeful) XL Bully Ban, maybe I will give the place a miss for now. Having said that, I will still come to watch these videos because I love the traditions of our country.
Lots of people can't understand why there are not white lines to keep the tourists back.. well, outside the boxes is not military land but the London council. Therefore they are not allowed to put anything there. The tourists are a real pain and lack the normal understanding of a horse.. Lucky for the horse he is only there for ONE HOUR.
Put a square 2ft by 2ft at the front of the box and a sign stating dont pat horses and stand outside the box marked on the footpath, any wonder that the animals bite they put up with so much and if u are scared of the animal dont go trying to pat it as that upsets the horse more. There must be another way to stop the crowd from crowding these horses and do it in an orderly way. Have a person to one side opposite side to gate to tell people to line up and take there turn in orderly fashion. When there are a dozen or more rushing to get there pictures the horse feels closed in . They have to sort something out before someone gets seriously injured or the guard or the horse get injured.
It is so annoying watching these people petting and poking the horses, they have enough stimulation with just the noise and constant flow of tourists! Thank goodness the guards and horses are not stationed there for ant great length of time!
I truly mean no disrespect. After watching the video, I was not sure who the offender was, and exactly what she did. I assume it was the woman who was spoken to by the policeman. Is that correct?
Is this the equivalent of shouting fire in a crowded cinema? Why was this loud march permitted to travel down this street where the horses are? We’re the trying to cause death or injury?
These horses are extremely well cared for and loved, that said, I feel bad for them having to deal with these ignorant tourists who stresses the horse out and causes them to be agitated at times, I don’t think the tourists should be allowed to walk up into their space and start petting them and tickling their noses which by the way horses do not like that.
poor horses - what a dissonance!!! i don’t even know what they’re saying. 2:37 now he’s all ears and alert to what is going on. look how interested he is :) 🐴🌷🌱
I don't think any of the Public should be any where near our Soldiers especially with what's gone on recently. I just loathe tourists. I don't care how much money they bring in, if they disrespect our Troops and don't read the signs then GO!
What? She is one of the first people who I have seen on these videos who approached the horse correctly by holding her hand out and moving slowly, instead of just lurching forward and touching it. The officer didn't tell her off, he just told her it wasn't a good time because the protestor's racket was spooking the horse. and then 20 seconds later a young woman came up and just suddenly started touching the horse and apparently that was fine. LOL! But I get that drama gets clicks.
why didn't they move the horses inside like they did with the past protest groups? and apparently the monarchy isn't concerned that some of these 'tourists' could be infiltrators or just plain mentally unbalanced like that woman the guards had so much trouble with earlier this year -
Those whistles bother me can you imagine what the horses hear. Inconsiderate monsters. Protesting around people who most likely are foreigners doesn't do much good.
I worry so much about the health of these beauties. Think about all the germs that they are being exposed to or whatever else may be on people's handa. They need protected.
The loud noises from protestors could be bothering horses ears if they are higher enough pitch. And what are they protesting about? Talk about noise pollution.
I would find it SO tempting to want to touch these beautiful animals, but if you really care about them, you keep your hands off and give them their personal space.
you know ppl could politely respect the fact that this guy is on duty,at his job, it is a shame they have let it go as far as it has, i mean by the Guards themselves bc if they would forbid being approached or touched no exceptions & offer up a consequence for it they may not get pestered so much
Can tell the kings guards and horse's got more attention then those stupid protesters. Probably not even knowing what they're protesting for like most.
Its ok I have a horse of my own and I know what I,m doing,I do this all the time to my horse, well good for you but this is not your horse so keep your hands to yourself please.
Why is this allowed so many people there for the solder and the horse. Its not a Zoo or a playground. They didnt protect the horses and what a terrible noise all the time.
Why oh Why must some mindless zombie tourist feel the need to hold the horses reigns……so disrespectful and Dam right rude!! While I am having my daily rant……..why do they allow rowdy noisy demonstrations any where near horse guards parade in the first place. Those poor horses get really spooked and become dangerous to the trooper and the tourist’s nearby.?????🙄
hi catz yes all the interesting snipets could have gone onto one you gave good advice for people not top watch them, i agree they are boring and so samey thanks
In fairness to her, she listened and moved on. Your thumbnail and headline doesn’t represent what that woman did or more to the point, didn’t do. Please, yes, call out irresponsible tourists and country men/women but don’t make out something that didn’t happen. Your videos become null and void when you do this.
Now there we go bloody protesters why cant they choose another route Im all for protestig but not at the expense of a beautiful animal wo coud do anything once its nervous especial a horse
