🚨 EA CEO Spills info The Sims 4 Upcoming Roadmaps, Simmers Concerns & MORE! 

The Kitpocalypse continues, it's no surprise that EA wants to continue going the cheap way out, rather than putting in the effort, like they used to back in the day (The Sims 3 Era), The Sims 4 ruined the Franchise, mostly because of EA and the Sim Gurus not being transparent.

Some of those fifteen content drops better be bug fixes.

Every discussion I've seen about these 15+ content updates becomes a conversation about how we hope it's not just a bunch of kits. Kits feel low-effort and disposable because there are way too many of them now, and they are overpriced compared to whole packs. Kits are the loose cigarettes of DLC. Hey, EA, I know you didn't ask us players for our opinion since we don't matter to you as much as shareholders, but for FY25, we want QUALITY! That means BUG FIXES and FULL PACKS with DEPTH.

I'm just stoked for life by you, EA is so far beyond annoying to deal with.

Okay so I keep hearing about how mad the sims community is about these consistently broken/cheaply made packs but obviously you guys are still buying them. If you weren't, if the sales on these were bad, they would've stopped doing this by now.

This only shows they don’t give a fuck about the simmers, they broken ass game, and the quality of their work. Ain’t no way in hell they coming out with 15 new packs and the game is unplayable. Milking every last drop of this game, when the container been empty. This shit is ridiculous, EA gotta go down or they will continue to scam people out they money

Not buying new packs until I see more bug fixes. Crystal Creations was the last pack I bought. As much as I wanted to buy the Urban Style Kit I used those $5 to buy a full game that was 75% off.

The updates are game destroying, even if you don't buy anything. Then there's all the broken dlc. The game was busted nearly 2 years ago for me, so Sims 1, 2, 3 & Medieval were the only options to try for working Sims games. I'll be trying out all the new life sims that are coming. Loyalty means nothing to EA so why stick around?

I pirate all the content so I don't care what the content is. Fix the game!

I loved your perspective on this. I think the majority will be kits too, but it would be nice to get a free update of some kind too. You're not far off from 30K. I wouldn't be surprised if you hit before the end of the month. I hope you do. 😉

it’s all about greed nowadays for companies, and I blame the currency CEO EA because he’s never played a game in his life and he must be a Neo baby And bought the company and thought I can try to make more money off of it instead of that he’s running it into the ground and this is why I’m waiting for the life by you because I trust him because he’s the original maker of the first Sims game the second and the third Sims game he made all of that and now he’s making life by you So I trust him more than I the current CEO at Ea

I stopped play for a bit. Came back to all the kits. Not my favorite thing. I really feel like you don't get enough bang for your buck on them. Although there are some decent items, they just don't do much for me. Personally, I would love to see them expand a couple smaller areas like Moonwood Mill and Magnolia Promenade.

I need a whole new computer! I got so many packs already, and my computer freezes so bad with no mods!!! Just packs!

Idk I watch so many sim 4 videos about bug fixes but I don’t be having anything wrong with my game. The only issue I have is freezes and that not often, but I literally save the game and reset it. I play on ps5 .

Not 15 packs. 15 content updates. They could be free. They could cost money. We don't know. It's super important to not jump to conclusions here until we have more context. Speculate all you want, but label what you're saying as speculation and your own opinions/thoughts/hopes/fears.

I haven’t touched sims since Christmas and I don’t intend to until it becomes an actual enjoyable and playable game. Is it really that hard to ask for a game that feels play tested and cared about

can we just move on to the sims 5 already? Like the game is already broken and they keep adding packs on it and we already know if you take the old broken crap and put it with new content none of it works and they do it to make the Sims more lively but it's never going to happen no matter how hard you try it is never going to happen bc the thing sims really lack on is getting together to do a social event like in order to fix you just need a whole new game whole new wires whole new code 😭

I would love to have every sims pack, but the fact is that most of them are crappy and boring. Personally, I already bought all I need for my game, and I'm just not willing to spend more money just to discover more expensive useless crap that might look good, but ultimately doesn't do anything for the game itself.

The avoidance is real. What good are new items when the game itself is broken and past packs still don’t operate as they were advertised? No thank you.

I’m playing sims 1,2, 3, and medieval until the sims competitors come out. I’m not wasting my time on a broken game that is being used as a cash grab.

the things that we needed to build an actual castle weren't IN the kit, but to be fair I don't believe it would be possible for a kit to contain everything needed for a castle.

I got The party essentials kit Ford fogmachine and The dancefloor with fog, but of coursenthe fog effect isn't working. Might also Be because some mod, but I don't Haven any idea which mod(s) might Be responsible. And I Will not to though all of my abyss of mods.

Not going to lie, i'm losing all respect and hope for this genre of games. I heard there's another one in the making but it's nowhere near even in development yet being made by a guy who handles MMO games. He said it wont be an mmo it would be a regular life sim like the sims only the game will give you benefits and rewards based on how you interact with your character's neighbors, he said it would be like housewife drama and Gilmore girls or something like that. I don't exactly know what that means for a simulation type game but here's to hoping it turns out better and more interesting than what we got right now between all these games.... I know the other games aren't out yet and it's unfair to judge them before playing them but i'm just not excited for any of them. Some i just don't care about much and others are just disappointing me, sim 4 i just straight up hate. I'm hoping at least 3 more games are in development and they haven't announced them yet because i'd like more options....... Inzoi is cute, but that's the problem it's so sterile and prissy, i wonder if ill get bored since i tend to like the best of all worlds, the dirty crud as well as the clean cozy. I also don't like how it looks hard to make a genuinely unattractive character in that game. I like some of my characters to be truly ugly, boring, looking like they smell like hotdog water. Yes, i know i'm weird but i fucking get bored playing everyone being perfectly attractive all the time, i like the balance of all 10 levels of attraction because a world of nothing but perfect 10s bores be in these games. I like playing everything from a top model gorgeous looking character, to a apple pie baking slice of life mom type, to even slobby ugly characters, i like the differences. I don't have any interest in playing Paralives, for one everyone who developed that game looks identical to each other and that's always a red flag in my eyes. Whenever everyone part of a game team looks like they're related and have the same personal style as well as looking like they all share the same opinions, you know that game will end up being a hotmess in one shape or form because the game would end up being made only for people who share their opinions, not to mention that they all cheer each other on rather than critiquing what needs being critiqued..... Also, i'm not a fan of the cartoon art style at all. If they were more proportional and realistic but happened to look flat i wouldn't mind it, but they still give me cartoon character vibes. Also their game seems to be set in a place that reminds me of Portland Oregan, great if you're into it but me personally, i'm sick of these games always being set in the west coast in a metropolitan area all the damn time, it's boring and predictable, and they act like nobody else in the world wants to play their game because all they ever do is make them for upper middle class west coast young girls. I'm not preaching for them to "consider everyone part of a diverse world" or anything like that, i'm saying they only seem to think that everyone is of that personality or demographic and that only those people should get the chance to play these games fitting to their liking. Id love for each of these games to genuinely have their own personality but they really dont..... Life by you..... I'm still waiting for the improved changes as far as graphics. At first i didn't mind the way the game looked, but the more time passes the more i see that it doesn't have consistent graphics or art style. Like why does the game world look different from the characters? The room dimensions are all off, their furniture lacks personality or aesthetic. Just because it's base game doesn't mean it has to be lamer than basic.... Also i still don't know what the game play style will be, i'm hoping something like the sims 2 but i really don't think it's going to be that type of game, it feels like they're aiming more towards main character similar to those story mode sims games like busting out and the urbs. I just want to play in sims 2 gameplay. Also they advertised the game as this amazing moddable game but it's just regular sims in game customization only with excessive unnecessary steps, it's simplicity masquerading itself as state of the art..... And i despise the way the females look in that game. I don't know if it's a current year thing, but i prefer my female characters not looking like cavemen. And i wont touch project Renee with a 1,000 ft pole...... I'm done with EA's sims and everything they have to offer.
