KD is playing 76 minutes per game in round 1. He's playing point guard, shooting guard, small forward and center. He's doing everything.

The sad thing is that Simmons actions have definitely sent back the conversation when it comes to sports and mental health.

I agree with Perk. Just announce that no one's anticipating him being back in the playoffs. If that changes, you will find out via player change of status. The media needs to let this go.

That’s one of many reasons why I love KD and respect him so so much. From Coaching, 43 fxxing lineups, rookies, Harden playing bad on purpose, Kyrie only played 1/4 games, trades for new teammates….etc. So many obstacles, he can just carry and bring everyone ego tgt and play at highest level. And that time when ppl tried to blame anyone on his team, he took it himself for getting hurt. Still, he is able to elevated every his teammates to another level and bring the best of them on the court. He is just unbelievable, no stats chasing, always make right plays. He is exactly the same guy in thunder in warriors and now nets that embrace his teammates and still doing what he does on the court🤯 And ppl really take him for granted sometimes. He is Kevin Durant, really an alien and treasure in NBA. My one and only goat💙 Wherever and whenever he plays, he is basketball.🔥死神🔥

From someone who deals with depression and other mental health issues I hope he's not faking it even though I suspect he is. All people asked him to do is work on his shooting and he just shut down. I can't get away with that on my job and neither can most.

I would NOT let Ben back into the lineup. It would jeopardize the current chemistry of the team and cause them to potentially lose in the playoffs.

I miss the 80s and 90s. If you were well enough to play, you play. The level of these “superstars” being coddled and babied in this era is ludicrous. And people wonder we look at era and call it soft. I mean Bird basically played with a broken back in 91-92.

Could've just put this in the "Worst of Stephen A" playlist. No matter what anyone thinks or feels about how it happened, Ben has not played for 10 months. Starting him up mid-playoffs would definitely mess up the Nets rotations and probably get him injured. Stephen A Smith has to know this.

Ben Simmons reminds me Royce White. Royce was a top draft pick. Went to The Rockets in 2012 and was out of the NBA by 2017/18. He had an overwhelming fear of flying and paralyzing anxiety. Missed an entire season because of his fear. Dude had all the potential in the world to be a great player but mentally he was broken by his fear. I see the same thing with Ben Simmons. It’s like he’s still living in that moment under the rim in his head when the possibility of returning approaches. Dude need’s a psychiatrist and I’m not joking.

As much as James Harden is a question mark and has defensive issues, I’m so happy the Sixers got rid of the Ben Simmons drama. He’s very entitled and doesn’t even want to play basketball-he just wants to get paid and buy houses and cars.
