my brother-in-law is a huge Steelers fan. When Mike Tomlin won the SB I thought they had their next great coach. But my B in-law sad he just won with Bill Cowher's players. He was right all along

We have defense when healthy, a run game, adequate pass protection and a lot of open receivers. Pickett is a top tier back up but he ain't the guy. Nothing is going to change until we get one. Not only is Tomlin overrated and overmatched (0-5 this year vs. rookie head coaches), he has been a fraud his entire head coaching career who lucked into one of the best coaching jobs in the NFL in 2007. Imagine what the Steelers could have been had they hired decent head coaches going back to the post Chuck Knoll era. They have drastically underachieved, considering the talent they have had, since the 90s.

Please. If he was released today Andy Reid would pick him up in a second. This guy just wants a quarterback that can give him a chance. For good sake look at the qbs he has deal with every week. That gets mentally frustrating. Big Red is not afraid of a little attitude or trouble.

I see what you’re saying but the Steelers are a lot to blame. Their qb situation has been so bad this young man is consistently running routes beating his man and almost never gets the ball. Also he has the capability of making contested catches but not getting opportunities. Combine that with immaturity and you get a guy saying why would I block and give up my body when I never get the ball. He’s wrong and should be blocking especially in that situation but this is how you get to this point. If he played in KC with Reid’s coaching and Mahomes ability He’d have a minimum 1,000 yds and 10 TDs and the Chiefs would have not lost to Detroit Philly and probably GB.

Trading & cutting though are so different, they probably should trade him to a team starving for a WR.
