Hi, Not sure this will work, but I have an idea. So far, I have not heard in-depth reports on Project 2025. I downloaded it and I’m reading it now, but it’s 920 pages. Yikes! Wondering if perhaps you’d crowdsource a synopsis version. Get 20+ volunteers, divvy up sections and we can write summaries. Then compile and ultimately distribute. We can educate so many and provide solid talking points to all. Just a thought. I’m sure there are a lot of writers out there like me who’d find this fascinating. All the best, BTC.

Since Trump only works two out of three days, Judge Merchan should sentence Trump to jail every third day until the election is over. Then it will be full time in jail.

while I would LOVE to see the convicted felon and civil rapist Donald J Trump behind bars. This outcome is highly unlikely. They would have to shut the entire wing of a prison down in order to ensure safety of a former president. What I'm really hoping to see is a long home incarceration with removal of things like internet and limited supervised visitation. We as tax payers would end up spending too much keeping him in a regular prison. So we turn Mar A Lago into one!

That would give him the easiest out ever. Any lawyer worth their salt would be able to easily argue that would be cruel and unusual punishment and get the entire sentencing thrown out. Give him time but keep it within what other similar convictions have received. Probably give him the maximum time allowed for one one of those conviction and say the other 34 run concurrently. That would be, imo, what would get him the most possible time behind bars without risking an overturning of his sentence.

If Trump promised to abolish the DOJ & the FBI that campaign promise alone would get him elected.

He needs to go to a mental home not prison, he’s a very dangerous individual.

If the burger boy is there, Diaper Dawnie should be right next to him for 34 years minimum - a year for each count, no parole. That way it can get out of the debate which is what it wants! :)

There's nothing serious about it. My recommendation: 12-18 months of incarceration that must be completed in its entirety (they can even get jail/prison time for several felony counts and run them concurrent, but he has to serve every single day). Next: financial restitution of LEGAL FEES -no lower court ruling to decrease the amount. Probation: minimum of three years; this will take care of him voting in FL.

Trump has been found liable for sexual abuse, defamation. His companies have been found to be fraudulent. That is criminal activity in my book. Never mind that it was in civil court. Trump’s a criminal… Period. LOCK HIM UP.

The way Trump is being treated is frustrating everybody, why is he allowed to have his lawyer present and not have a drug test, he should also have a psych evaluation done. Most of all he should be made to have it in person like everyone else, there are ways where his security can stay outside the room.

I am once again disheartened and angry yes angry that he is again getting special treatment in that he does not have to present himself at the probation office, take a drug test, pee in front of an intake officer, be weighed, measured for height, be interviewed in person, etc. Taking him at his word, or rather his word through the filter of his attorney remotely is a gross injustice to all Americans and our system of justice. Sickening.

I think 3 - 4 years for this plus probation would be appropriate as a “first time offense.” However for the documents case at least 20 years. Airman Texiera got 19 years in a plea bargain. 20 years later and Snowden is still hiding in Russia. Reality Winner and Chelsea Manning served meaningful time and then Manning was forced to serve more for refusing to testify. The Washington Jan 6th case needs to be treated like a 3 strikes or repeat offender added sentence if he is convicted there.

Also, when you get committed to one, you don't get a release date or get to have lawyers appeal getting you out. It takes medical doctors on a board to release you and that only happens when you are mentally healthy enough to be safe enough to be released, which takes actual effort on the part of the patient. We all know that Trump would never get out of a mental health facility if they sent him to one. I don't think he's bad enough to need to be placed in one, but I'm not a professional in the mental health field.

For the people that think Trump is too old for jail remember Allan Weiselberg is older and it was his first offense too. Trump has been involved in 4,095 lawsuits. He lost his last 3 civil suits, so I have a hard time thinking that this is Trump's first offense. Trump has shown no remorse. It would be great if they did have authority to stop him committing criminal offences, including fleeing from justice, but under current arrangements the most his security detail is permitted to do is to provide witness testimony if he is investigated or goes to trial.

How is anybody supposed to watch that and NOT think that America just doesn't have it in them to imprison a former president. Not a single one of them has the balls. Not one.
