🚨Caitlin Clark's Coach Addresses Clark Losing Her Temper During Practice 

Coach needs to learn to keep a lid on it. Don't think the coach would like it if CC gave her own opinion of Sides' coaching weaknesses with the media.

Need a coach that can coach. Get rid of that coach

Good and honorable coaches instruct the team on successes and shortfalls not publicly in the media but privately with individuals and the team

Coach needs to keep locker room moments and practice private

Hey coach, you don't do that. You don't criticize your players specifically. You will lose her.

The coach is being goaded by the league to put Clark in her place. It’s ridiculous! People come to see the deep 3s not the long 2s. That coach has no business exposing Clark publicly. She ought to be fired. Were Bird, Jordan and Johnson chided for taking tough shots? Every shot they took was going in… that was their mentality. Is the coach trying to make Clark mediocre? Even the refs got into the act. They called two tick-tack fouls early to get Clark out of the game. It’s pathetic how jealous these WNBA players are. They’re too arrogant and narcissistic to realize that Clark can lift the entire league.

How do we even know this information? It is ridiculous that the coach discussed it. Get rid of this coach.

Being the “hardest working and most competitive team in the gym….” No. How about believing in teamwork, having one point guard, and not switching things up. Make Clark head point guard. You have to wonder if Sides is getting paid a little extra to maybe give updates on Clark.

FIRE THAT COACH

Christie Sides coaches old school style (set up half court, players scamper for their perimeter spots). Iowa coach Bluder successfully integrated Caitlyn's skills into an up tempo passing offense.

Coaching Rule#1: Build an unbreakable TRUST and RESPECT with each of your players! Coaching Failure #1: NEVER criticize your players in the media. You either keep your damn mouth shut or focus on positives. NEVER call out players in a negative light to the media, especially after a loss. A REAL COACH accepts the team loss as his/her OWN RESPONSIBILITY! I have not seen a single redeeming quality in Christie Sides coaching style to date. She has broken the most important rules between players & coaches multiple times now. She is out of her depth as a coach for this team. She doesn't get it period. She either needs to step down or let an assistant coach who understands fast paced transition basketball style to take over. It makes me sick to see ANY COACH bad mouth ANY ATHLETE in the media. It's a huge pet peeve for me.... I instantly lose respect for the Coach.

Where did this coach come from, and whatever made the Fever think she was a good fit?????

The team and coach are throwing CC under the bus

the coach needs to keep this between the players. shes under alot of pressure and shes gonna be hard on herself. the coach shouldve had a talk with her privately not with the media

Hopefully Coach can learn. This is a learning experience for her too-- probably not use to having a popular player on her team.

Its not about the coach she needs defense skills coach is easy to replace Clark comes around not often which one do you choose??

She had a double double the first game. Everybody else needs to catch up and contribute.

So CC's game play is not to be criticized and she gets to play the way she wants to play regardless of how it affects the rest of the team play. I've never heard anything so stupid in my life. She's on a TEAM and the coach manages the talent on the TEAM not a rookie who has not shown herself to be able to win when the chips are down.

Coach Sides is getting a lot of criticism for her comments. I can't disagree with the criticism. But this is Caitlin. We don't know the relationship between Sides and Clark. Clark is really good at building her brand. She doesn't seem to let other's comments bother her. And every comment about her publicly adds value to that brand. I'm just going to watch this play out. At least the WNBA has become interesting.

It's apparent that this coach is one of Caitlin's biggest detractors and her deliberate attempt to destroy her is evident. Coaches don't openly criticize players to the public, yet this supposed coach does and it is having a negative effect on her game Someone in an important position needs to tell Sides criticism of your players is to be private. She has completely destroyed Caitlin's confidence

It’s the media is trying there harnessed make her the face of the WNBA..for the past two years ncaa championship games showed Clarks is to slow and when pressured on defense, her turnovers increase & she gets frustrated..it also showed her other weakness her dribbling skills are weak..I’m sure the Coach will be Forde soon in behalf of the media & fans..which want change the assessment ..one writer mention, oh she had two questionable fouls called on her..welcome to the league..
