This is a great offseason move, I like this signing. I campaigned for Buddy Hield 2 years ago. LeBron James wanted him 4 years ago with the Lakers. I've been telling people over the past 5 years that people have fallen asleep on this guy, he's been right with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. This was definitely a Grade A trade.

The draft day trade, Kyle Anderson, Buddy Hield and it costed just 2 second rounders, 1 on draft day, 1 for Hield then traded back into second for possibly your future center.

The problem with the Buddy Heal deal is lack of defense. When the Warriors were on top they had a top defense. Without the ablity to stop your opponent the warriors are going nowhere.

This is an A deal, no doubt! Warriors now have GP2, Moody, Podz, Melton, and Hield; who all play the off guard position. So, I wonder if we are packaging a couple of them into a Lauri Markkanen deal (I think it’ll be GP2 and Moody personally + 3 1st round picks) definitely 2 guards will be included into the deal though. We can’t afford to give up a big, Warriors are light in the frontcourt positions.

Losing old klay and chris paul are actually a good thing for the warriors and in place of buddy heild, melton and anderson is a win2x situation for the franchise moving forward. If they find a way to trade for markennen without losing so much, it certainly an ideal off season for warriors and their fans..

It continues to amaze me how pundits like you guys here (and i like you) so quickly assume things before the play out even when they obviously aren't played out....and then also how you show four straight years of stats on a guy in this case Hield, bet you don't put the all important minutes played next to them, which in this case with a borderline starter would be helpful. clearly Hield's stats went down last year. The minutes played and coach and him situation would have helped get to the bottom of that more. I never really liked Hield that much, but that's only because earlier on he was being talked about as a high paid player. Since then reality has sunk in, but that's good both for cost and that him realizing he was overrated may get the best out of him...which i think is a smarter great shooter who understands when to not be a gunner better, accept it's not his night as the team goes elsewhere for the most part until his next shift and the chance that he finds his stroke again. Unless he can do more, and let's be honest, name of dudes game is 3s. Buy yeah, come on now, why wouldn't you put the all important minutes played stat?
