You never mention it in your videos, but if you just got a "standard" Chinese controller for the motor, it will heat the motor up because it uses a semi sine wave (2 step square wave), which makes very high current spikes and wastes power. You need to get a sinosudial 3 phase motor controller. They are 50-100% more expensive from China, but they are worth the money in cooler running motor and less current draw, so longer range.
