I've got a 1988 Honda Legend and sadly they don't build any aftermarket replacements for the speed sensor which is positioned on the gear box. After reading the manual it says that it should be receiving a 5v signal to the computer .. which an old school separate computer located under the front seat. Just wondering if you have any idea about the sensor .. and also because it's pre OBD-II .. is there a way to just jimmy in a replacement aftermarket sensor which will supply the 5v and not have to go through the hassle of updating all the computers and everything .. as the car is so electric heavy it would turn a possible 1 hour job into something closer to 15 days :D

What about rally cars you chane the wheel size that change the final driven retio/Speed. How can make it isy to fix

WIth the threaded adjustable hall effect sensors, do they need regular tightening to make sure the air gap stays the same? Or are they pretty tight?

I've replaced 3 rear sensors on a Ford Focus in less than 2 years. If it's so simple why would these sensors fail? This is the first ABS vehicle that I have ever had to replace a sensor on.
