ME!! I'm on XBox Series X and cannot get the duplication process to work on anything more than a single item. Like I was trying to do copper, and it would let me do 1 bar, but not duplicate more than one bar at a time. I tried to do 400 steel, and it was not working. Any tips on how to do it properly?
@anthonyfinney6326 it's all about timing, mate! I still can't get it to work every single time hahaha but it does work. Just have to be patient aswell 👌
@@HaulacuasrDr Thanks. I caught where he says to hold the B button while pressing A. The previous RU-vidr vid I had seen didn't mention that the switch from X to B required B to be held while tapping A. I did that and took 3 copper to 28K copper in a few minutes.
Update: The ammo will continue to produce as long as you are in the area of it being loaded. If you fast travel out, it will STOP PRODUCING.I was confused earlier. Shout out to Matthias Meyer for keeping me honest, thank you.
@@thelegoyousteppedon we sure have been. You have been ignoring our calls and emails, and we will take legal action in two weeks if you don't call 911 and say "bird up" so we know it's you
Dude I had ZERO idea of how to begin w the factory and obviously I started the search on YT. Your vid was the first recommended and due to the short time I thought it was going to be an overview...im eating my own words!!! Thank you so much for this tutorial man, God bless you boss 🙏🙏🙏
I was never interested in manufacturing in Fallout 4 until now. It's so simple I'm almost ashamed. Thank you for you vid as I'm always looking for different ways to play.
I thought it was the mod i had added for bunk beds that added that didn't think it was vanilla. To be honest it's only recent i have started to do settlement building also.
I haven't played the game for years I'm just getting back into it and randomly found this video this is totally new and it looks easy to set up thank you❤
Thank you dude. Everyone was making videos about ammo factory but never mentioned the fact about upgrading gun nut and the other one to unlock ammo schematics
This is my first time playing any Fallout game and just learned that I have enough materials and perks to do this. Till now I have just been scrounging for my Spray 'n Pray. Thank you.
If your hard up on materials or space. 8nstead of using a convayer storage you can use a bathtub to catch all the ammo. You'll just have to pick it up.
You kind-of left-out the part where you need the Contraptions Workshop DLC. Couldn’t figure-out why there wasn’t a “manufacturing” option under “power”.
You can add a switch between the machine and the terminal as well, which allows you to turn it off when you leave the settlement. When you come back you can turn it back on and it will resume the production you had assigned to it already.
What the hell?? 😂😂😂 I’m in the middle of a quest right now, listening to this in the background just floored! Had no idea this was a thing. All my mats are duped to around 50k and my science and gun nut perks are maxed. I can’t wait to get into this! Thank you once again for a game changing video 🙏🏾
You're still going to be trading to get the components unless you're grinding a shit ton to scavenge. Seems like this would only be good for hard to find ammo in large quantities like mini nukes. I have a couple purified water farms and largely just buy ammo from my own stores and never worry about running out.
Thank you! Its way easier then other guy explained. Other guy said we need containers where to store the manufactured things, vacuum pump that sucks out of the last container thats connected to conveyer belt that you showed, angles to which conveyer belt works and where it gets stuck and he showed some complicated wiring system with fusion generator i got lost somewhere along the way;)
Thanks. Im new to Fallout (Just bought Fallout 4) and this video were super useful. I watch one before without speech, and in that video they only put the factory together. Not explaining the perks you needed etc. Im going to subscribe and keep look for stuff on your channel . Once again, thanks for a good guide in what I looked for.
I have played this game off and on for nearly 8 years and did not know that you could manufacture ammo! Thank you so much. Granted, I do realize that this video was posted 2 years ago, but thank you all the same. I hope you're still doing videos, because this was very helpful. I'm going to sub just in case.
I never knew this was a thing, on my 2nd playthrough and first time with the DLC installed. Thanks for randomly appearing as a recommended video. Now I need to hunt more fertilizer! :D
I like that we go through all that effort just to glitch in resources when we could have console command 10,000 of each ammo and call it good. Joking aside I came here to see what was needed. Even us vets need a refresher. Thanks TWP once again.
There is a mod that lets you manually craft ammunition but you don't need dlc, it's called "Balanced Craftable Ammunition" which uses the materials from the dlc to make ammo but you can make it in chemistry stations
@@leonardocosta7188Because the game is 9 years old, and came with a season pass when that actually meant something, so nearly everyone who owns the game has all the DLC already
@@tim.noonan I have the disc along with a paper saying "season pass, all access granted" on it, so I assume that means I have all of the DLC's, but when I go to download them, it says I have to buy the season pass again. Why is that?
Thanks for your video buddy i have played a few hours but never even tried to find this ammo factory i am always running out of ammo for some reason Thanks buddy you really did a great video 👍🙏😬🎉
Perfectly explained, kudos. Thumbs up! Note you need glitch abuse to have enough resources for manufacture any useable amount. This is the only reason instead i only buy ammo from vendors and have scrounger luck2 perk that lets me find ammo. Also because of this i appritiate the ammo vendor S from Diamond City and the Boston Police Rationing site, NE from Fairlight Hill Estates, who sells high cailber ammo.
I think the purified water glitch + infinite companion carry limit (they will pick up anything you command them to) means that currency is broken and you can buy all the vendor ammo easily for 'free'
Thank you so much. I've already tinkered with build perks like gun nut, science and many other perks that allows creation. I haven't really messed with the Contraptions Workshop DLC except for capturing pets. I'm always running low on ammo especially for weapons like Handmade Rifles which is 7.62. But I do have a question. Does the ammo creation work with ammo like nukes and missiles?
Can you change the type of ammo once you've made enough of one type? I went back to the terminal after satisfied, but it didn't have any options to make changes, just a blank screen.
This is great, but for some reason I do not see manufacturing as an option in the workshop>power location. Im pretty new to this game but at lvl 18, INT 6, Gun nut 2, Science 2. Any suggestions?
You could just use dog meat to to the ammo duplication glitch, but this is decent if you don’t want to wait around duping ammo and want to just get on with the game ;) good demonstration mate
No, not without your production of whatever you’re manufacturing being halted. The second you fast travel away from the settlement where you have your factory set up or run far enough away from it on foot, the machine(s) will halt production. The same goes for entering the pause menu, using a terminal, entering your pip boy menu, or anything else that would interrupt combat with an enemy. If it can interrupt an enemy from attacking you, it’ll interrupt any machinery you build, with the exception of water purifiers, since they produce a set amount per day, and deposit the excess directly into the workshop. Production will resume, automatically, upon your return to the settlement. As for entering a different room in the settlement like the root cellar in sanctuary or the tunnels under the castle, I haven’t tested that yet.
All this is is a crafting bench with additional steps, not automated at all when you need to manually place the supplies. Normal crafting benches actually have access to all of your connected workshops but this doesnt at all lol. they somehow made manufacturing less automated than crafting at a workbench lmao
Hey guys a tip as well I don’t know if it was just a glitch but for some reason if you have multiple plants they don’t like to be on the same power grid so use separate generators and wires for separate ammunition
I know it's been 4 months, but just in case you haven't already got an answer... You don't need the specific ingredients just junk that contains said ingredients. The ammo plant extracts what it needs and stores what it doesn't.
