Glad Swans are offering desktop options, as I ended up with the Edifiers for my desk at the time. I might never get the M300 MKII's but I least I snatched the D1090's which will last me for a long time.

M80w's are the desk Goat. Perfect size drivers for desk. I even msged them about making them after the m50's were underpowered and they were literally exactly what I suggested. Metal grills and all.

I just got some Swans D1100s for my desk I really like them. They are better when backed up or in a room, but they work well on a desk for me.

Thanks in part to this review I bought the M200 MKii. ($199/pair sale at Amazon, now they're back up to $299) (I sent back the Jamo 803 and Edifier 1850, they just couldnt compete) I wish the Swans 4 pin cable was 4ft longer between the pair, cant find an extension nor a longer cord and Swan support hasnt been any help. Unfortunately the cable isnt long enough to rest along the floor and is just hanging airborne between the pair.

I'm going broke thanks to you Z !!!!!! My current speaker list is as follows JBL 530s, Fluance sx6s, Jamo c93,IIs, In white of course for both the Fluance & Jamos, . I also have the entire set of Jamo 803s, center and surrounds I got for 299. I have the Micca Covo S, that I took apart and painted white of course, flat white much better than black !!!!!!! I have the Dayton Audio MK 402s. I've painted flat white of course. I also have the Polk Audio OWM3s that I use with a subwoofer for my wife's bedroom. Nice.!!! So needless to say I have gone broke watching you over the years. There have been several speakers that I wanted to buy that were sold out due to the ( ZEOS EFFECT ). certain JBLs, Jamos, and many others. It's been an interesting ride to say the least.

Z, I know they're not anything high end, but have you reviewed the newer Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers yet? I got a pair last year to replace my dead Logitech PC speakers, I love the Klipsch for a decent lower cost PC speaker solution (THX too), with amazing bass from the subwoofer. I think they sound damned good for the money.

The way you have your swans positioned as your center channel is actually galaxy brained. They even disperse across each other in an x to widen the shit out of the sweet spot. While also probably hyper focusing it for the person sitting in the sweet spot. Murder in a good way. Yeah that’s a thing now….good Murder

If i was a fan of Swan (i don´t know them, and i´m a sceptical person), i would probably use the M200 Mk II in the desk, and the M500 in the living room. Small living room. Because... yeah. I am that person...

Which swan speakers are best for desktop and for nominal distance of 5 feet? Mostly close on desk? Are d1090 nice? For 100sqft room? I like bright speakers with crisp detail and deep bass…but bass can be fixed by an additional sub..but more detailed sound and good sound staging! Can I get the d1090 as it’s available here in India! For under 350$! Please respond?

I have the M200MkIII+ basically.. they're the same as the M200MkII's here but with Bass/Vol/Treble controls on the face. They go from 'Loud' to 'Let's find out if the people 4 floors up from me will complain?' in Bass and Volume. I think the M in the name is for 'Murder Cannon' as Zeos beautifully put it, very happy with them and also picked up the matching Swans Stands too which have awesome Swans detailing. Highly recommend. As a room speaker, not a desk speaker, dear all that is good in this world don't have them on a desk, people will get hurt!

A shame that like many of the speakers you show off, they're simply not available at all in the UK, is a shame but about what can be expected with items getting shipped from china, though I'm sure the trade ban has made that quite the interesting mess for the US to get new products too.

Swan's product lineup makes no sense atm. All M200's should be great desk speakers. Glad I got my MkIII+'s. Thought the bluetooth has the same shitty problems as the D1060/D1080's - it's always on even if it's on standby. In fact my phone connects to them when I put them to standby

check your output settings. It likely can't handle over 48Khz.. That is the flaw with the M200's here if I didn't mention that.

Years of saving got the down payment done. Now its a matter of generating enough for the mortgage. Which the $10 patronage chat basically covers all on its own. People love it in there.

@@ZReviews Saving from what source? I stand by my observation. These speakers are fine for occasional use, but I doubt their staying power. There are lots of bad reviews on longevity for these at Amazon. It's ironic, but anything that gets less than 4.5 stars on Amazon is awful. I recommend any good open headphone and a dongle DAC for "desktop" use. All *usable* (meaning of reasonable size) desktop speakers are poor at what they do if no sub is included or compatible. Nothing beats open-back headphones for fidelity, affordability and ease for desktop use. I have found that every desktop or "multimedia" speaker is a poor compromise of some sort and most very cheaply made.

But i can tell that, althought i love listening music through decent headphones with an amp (very important for me), since i decided to buy a pair of Adam T5V´s for the desk, more than a year ago, i can´t remember the last time i used headphones. I love them.

@@mindtraveller100 I've heard good things about them, but they are a little beefy for desktop use and, realistically, need a sub. If you have the room, fine, but it's all a bit much. I would get a cheapish 3-piece set from Logitech or Klipsch for when headphones annoy me, but use the cans 90% of the time.
