I bought these for a meeting room projector with a 12 chairs table. The treble goes down after 20 or so hours. Very nice presentation of lows mids and highs. Never tested them in desk mode though as of now. Swans do amazing DSP like Bose and Sonos level good and have high end tweeters.
Zeos, thank you for me winning the Moondrop Illuminations. I can't wait to get them. I sent all the information you asked for. My name, address, phone number, Social Security number, Birth Certificate, and copies of all my utilty bills.
There is a switch at the back, for switching between stands and desktop, I think you should switch them to desktop mode if you want nearer field listening, might just perform better.
I just ordered the d100. Like I ask so many sellers and they told me they prefer the d100 compare to os10. Because they said the d100 has more clarity to them compared to the os10
more proportion of treble frequencies in the "power spectrum" makes the sounds seem louder in volume than they actually are, than just based off the physical sound pressure level. no doubt you're having treble pain and fatigue!
How would these do on a desk setup? I am talking about a 19” deep desk, minus whatever the depth of these speakers are. Can they be turned down in volume and still be good as a desktop setup? I ask cause my bedroom is about 10x10 foot and my desk is also my entertainment/speaker stand, where I watch movies from across the room at my bed, and (only occasionally) I will listen to youtube, do recording/monitoring or whatever at the desk. I know typically people recommend being a few 3-6 feet from desk speakers, but hoping these would be able to still work both for across the room and as a desk setup. Thank you for anyone who replies!!❤
The OS 10s have great bass for how small they are. Their weakness for me so far is the 0 led on their front face and Bluetooth sound clearly worse, Bluetooth direct from my LG C1 sound tizzy and sibilant AF.
I would love for swan to ship you their huge surround towers or the F10 weird looking speaker. There was a store in the US that sold these back in the day, but they were thousands of dollars.
lol you talk about these speakers alot. i think youre obsessed and might have a problem lol... but id like to hear them one day for sure after hearing you talk about them so much. also love samurai champloo ive just almost finished outlaw star. just watched the nuddy episode. nice surprise to say the least.
So @Z I've had my D100s for a couple weeks now and I thought some songs sounded weird like phase issues...only today I realized that my right channel is on the left.... I'll switch it around and hopefully it's gone 😂
just got this pair of speakers, it is alot more neutral than the m200 mkiii. the bass is less impact but felt deeper, and the tweeter isnt hard at all, it is alot more tame than the m200( tracks like sicko mode really bug me out on the m200 because Drake vocal is really sharp), using it for nearfield i also notice the staging is quite more deeper.
For desktop listening, do you use D200 on desk mode? I'm torn between m200mkIII and d200, which one do you prefer for listening to fast paced music preferences?
@@eddick6000 d200 is alot faster than the m200 mk3, i would buy m200 for vocal/slow paced audio and d200 for everything else because the m200 is colored and i like my vocal to be less bassy since it makes my ear tired
@@eddick6000 My setup is speaker towed in 15 deg ( toward my ear) and about 10 inches from the wall and an arm away from me (nearfield). the stand/desk button do have clear differents, stand mode push the staging and vocal back, midbass is a tad bid more pronounce, vocal is laid back and less detail is thrown at my face. Desk pull the vocal and everything close to me, highs are more pronounce and bass is tighter, the midbass bump is not there anymore
I'm going to buy these, but question first. Does the sound alter with different input (analog vs. digital). It looks as though these have onboard DSP Does this work same with analog/digital input? or does DSP only work with digital input? And which sounds better?
@@ZReviews I reviewed your powered speaker videos (I admit 1/2 of it was for the "entertainment" value 🤣) Maybe I should have worded my question better. I'm looking for powered speakers for my desktop that don't take-up a lot of space, takes an RCA input from my Burson Playmate 2 with Sparko Op Amps (an under desk sub-woofer is OK) and under $400. Any recommendations? If you have a review please link it My current system has Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 driven off the motherboard DAC which were OK but the sub blew out on me and I don't really drive them hard. Looking for something that will complement the Burson DAC Keep-up the good work, thanks
The real question is, should I buy these or Vanatoos? Cause I'm really just looking for a pair of speakers I can just have for my record player, do my bluetooth and maybe hookup to a TV in a small room.
I do not know if I could buy these swans with no way to contact them with their web site down. Its been down for weeks do you know anything as to why their web site is down. If you have a warranty issue how can you take care of it with no way to get a hold of them.
An observation, the quality of your videos is still good, but this shorter format is honestly somewhat disappointing. I prefer the longer form videos that are 30 or 40 minutes long. 20 minutes is barely enough, and 15 minutes, especially about something you like?... just not enough. This is just the feeling i've gotten after watching several of your shorter videos now.. they feel lacking.
