This was awesome! I added the Cameo 4 and the update... but have the issues with not being able choose a different printer- who has only one printer? LOL thanks.. glad I found you! thank you
I’d like to know this too! I have a Portrait 3 and the only difference (I know of so far) is the size of my mat and that’s ok. But I’m not sure I would want to not update it/or go back because what about any of the designs we have bought or made? Is this effected by the update or reverting to a previous version? I sure wish Silhouette of America Customer Service/chic that does the videos on there (Kelly I think) would answer a comment, email, or question!! Or someone (ANYONE?) a user of silhouette studio that knows. I’ve only been an owner of a cutting machine since Sept 2021 and I still have only cut 10 or less things. That’s including all of the buggy things that was going on with the blade and I just started to manually tell it the depth and force and test cut. Just really frustrating!!
Hi Becky, Thank you for your videos. I have SS on a desktop and laptop. The desktop is crisp and clear but the laptop is a bit fuzzy. Do you have any recommendations on how to fix this?

I have the current version 4.4 software for my cameo 4 and my program keeps crashing and gives me a message to quit without saving. How do I fix this? Please help.
Hey Angie! Unfortunately I would suggest reaching out to Silhouette America. I researched this topic in the Facebook groups and there seems to be many answers depending on your software and computer specifications. I wish I had a more definitive answer for you, but I'm not a super tech savvy person. Hope this helps! ---Becky

I’ve been an owner of the portrait 3 (my first ever cutting machine) and I’m just really confused and frustrated, I feel like the customer service of the maker is really unhelpful and always suggest to me to buy a new blade. (Which I’ve gone through 3-4 blades but only have tried to cut less than 10 times…it’s not the blade!!)

I cannot find this website anymore. They have changed it and just direct me to mostly version 4.0 and above for my MAC OS and I cannot get mine cut properly. :(
Hi there! I’m new to this software and just cutting machine in general but I found a helpful link on SoFontsy or maybe it was the Silhouette School (that’s not ran by actual silhouette but the Melissa chic that is also head of SoFontsy) I can try and link it if you still need it.
I am having issues downloading the silhouette studio and when it’s on extracting files from archive it’s been there for hours. Do u have any idea y it’s not finishing by chance.
Hey Crystal! I haven't experienced this but I would probably interrupt the download (you can shutdown the computer if you have to). Then uninstall and reinstall. I think it just gets "stuck" sometimes for lack of a better word. Hope this helps! ---Becky
Please help I just bought a bunch of bundles from y’all I’ve been running the same version since 2014 designer never one time updated I’ve never one time paid for a font or an image I just recently purchased bundles I do not Know how to extract and download so I’m learning that process when I hit download on the biggest bundle my computer crashed which I’m sure it’s because I tried to download it 45 times not literally but you get it. I’ve had this software since 2014 my computer will not turn back on 24 hours later but I do have a new computer that I bought today because this one has been on a wing and a prayer. I bought the new Dell all-in-one desktop my problem is can I get back anything from my Cameo that I bought in 2014? Can I add my old Cameo to this computer and get back everything considering my other laptop completely won’t even turn on? Please help
Hey Amber! I hopefully have good news for you! You can definitely use your Cameo with your new computer. If you had a lot of files on your old computer, you can take the computer to a repair shop and they can usually pull the files off your hard-drive and put the on a flash drive or external hard-drive so that you can then use them on your new computer also. It will be an added expense, but that may be the only way. Hope this helps! ---Becky
Becky, I got everything up and running but the issue is when extract and unzip Is there an easier way to bulk load them onto business edition in the silhouette
