🤦 MY TRIP TO PORT VALE DIDN'T GO TO PLAN! Port Vale 1-3 Bristol Rovers, EFL League 2 

Port Vale fan here. Glad you came along to do a video on us! It's not the first time we've had ticketing and turnstile issues this season. Doesn't shine a good light on us but we have the best club owners in the EFL and we're confident it will be addressed soon. Biggest crowd since our last promotion season in 12/13 where we beat Staffordshire rivals Burton Albion 7-1 and had over 12,000 VS Northampton last game of that season. Hope you come back and film more content on us and the football culture in Stoke generally, as the Potteries derby/rivalry is one of the most underrated in English football!

I'd love to hear if you're planning to do Worksop Town - 'The Tigers'. They're meant to be the fourth oldest team. I've been studying the heritage of Worksop and, of course, that's meant a look at the history of their footie. They had to move 20 miles away to Gainsborough at one point. And Chris Waddle played for them in the 2000s at one point as well. Loved watching this vid as well. Great to see the interest in the very old Sheffield and Midlands teams :)

Been to 386 games in England and Scotland. Yes I do count and register every ground and game I attended and have a matchday programme as well. Great videos. Love them all. Remind me of my trips in trains and going to different grounds.

Robbie has played at the Vale for the Vale, it was for Neil Aspins testimonial match (that was Neil with Robbie in the picture you showed on the outside of the club shop) that photo was taken at this testimonial match. Robbie did used to watch the Vale but don't forget Phil the power taylor he's a life long Vale fan too.

Love the videos mate. You should really check out Renfrew Juniors one day! Where I used to live with my parents in Renfrew, our side window in the flat looked onto the pitch and we had a free ticket every home game! They went onto win the Scottish Juniors Cup in 2001 and there was a massive parade in Renfrew. The pitch has been covered with new houses and they have a brand new park just along the road now. You should definitely check it out one day! It’s a good day out with some great football.

I enjoyed seeing the view from the other side of the ground from where I was, in the packed away end. However, you once referred to us by the wrong name; that of Bristol's junior professional football club (est.1982). There IS a place called Forest Green - it's a housing estate in Nailsworth where the football club's based, and where buses from Stroud to the town terminate. Surely, the club without the name of the place it's in is Arsenal. Aside from that, great vlog. Up The Gas!

There's another club that doesn't have the name of a place in their name! Hull City. The name of the city is actually Kingston Upon Hull. Hull is not the name of the place, although it has become the abbreviated name. Hull is the river which flows into the Humber, on which the city stands.

I went to Port Vale once back in the late 1990's .Nice little ground more than half empty though when I went.Looks like they haven't done any ground improvements since.

I went to Port Vale to watch Tranmere their first home game of the season and there was absolute chaos outside with people queuing for tickets. Looks like 20 odd game later they still haven`t sorted it out.

There are a few in Scotland though, Queen of the South, East Stirlingshire [ based in Falkirk], St Johnstone, St Mirren, Raith Rovers, The Spartans, Civil Service Strollers, Caledonian Braves and you could argue about Hibernian too as their official name is Hibernian FC but it does say Edinburgh on the club crest.
