When I played this on Wii, I must’ve spent about an hour on it to beat it as Mario. Then when I got 3D All Stars, it took around 20 minutes with Mario and I first tried it with Luigi. I couldn’t believe it. But like everyone else, you underestimated this level at first and realised it’s the hardest level in the entire game. XD

Took me 13x within 20 minutes. He got it though. Nicely done and "never again" Abdallah . Beach Bowl Galaxy is my favorite in Super Mario Galaxy. 30 attempts and Abdallah's funny moments and clips

Lol this was literally me playing this level 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I noticed you died alot by jumping backwards for a missed coin onto a platform and then missing the jump back to the moving platform. I figured out you could just wait and the moving platform would come through again. Great video though!!!!

Hahaha lol I felt literally the exact same way while playing this. Lots of rage due to missing the depth of where certain purple coins are even though I touched them. This level fills you with Dread hence the name Dreadnought Galaxy. I decided to experiment and see what happens when you collect 0 purple coins and take the secret sling star at the end. The Gearmos response is priceless. 😂😂

Oh man i hated this stage. But i think that green star one where ya have to use motion controls with the ball gave me the most rage quit along with the purple coin one in the haunted house stage xD

Dreadnought it the absolute worst! 😂 and it's even more annoying as Luigi... i literally played it the other day (luigi... hate his mechanics...) and my friends were like "why do you keep dying?" and I was like "you try it!!!"

Maybe it was just me but the bullet bill secret star in the dusty dune galaxy had me spend almost 45 minutes on it

This reminds me of the extra last level of 3D Land. I spent more than 75 lives on that level, and the worst part is that I had trouble with the part where you have to jump form one block to another (several in line) and if you fail you fall to your death, and that's like just the 2nd obstacle. The few times I passed that part I did an almost perfect run for the other 7-8~ parts, but ended up dying. I gave up that day, and when I woke up the next day and tried I beat it in the first try. 😂😭 Finally! 🎉🎉

If u miss purple coins near a still platform, go back to the still platform and wait there until the moving platform respawns

Dude I recently been going for a 100% Mario galaxy run and I legit had to quit today because I got so angry at this level. But this video made me feel better knowing other people had trouble and I beat it on my second try once I started playing again. I need 20 more stars and it's mainly just the prankster comets and secret stars

I beat this level when I was 10, 10 years ago when I 100% this game… I beat it again 9 years later at age 19 when All Stars came out and got 100% for the second time. Now I’m 20 and heavily contemplating getting 100% a THIRD time since this is my favorite game of all time.

@@Eflick389 I used to have trouble on that one too, but I was pretty bad at movement and planning back then. Now I can get no problem since routing what coins can be gotten by your own skill limits is key.

My first time playing Galaxy on the Wii, this level probably took me hours. I don’t think it was as bad in 3D All Stars, but that might be because I’ve played this game so many times. Muscle memory must somewhat stick with you.

This level legit took me at least three times as long to beat as Luigi's Purple Coins, or any of the three trial stars at the end. My mind could not rationalize the gravity switching. And when I didn't walk or jump off the platform willingly, a cannonball would get a lucky shot in. I hated this level sooooo much!!! 🤬🤬 But really the secret is looking at your shadow in relation to the coins, reversing down and up when upside down, left and right when sideways, and doing regular, vanilla jumps. The long jump, backflip (except one you need to do), and spins just throw your timing off most of the time. Good luck!

I honestly think that Sling Pod Galaxy is the hardest level in the game. This is hard don't get me wrong but Sling Pod Galaxy is much harder for me.

Honestly, this level for me wasn’t that hard, the fact that depth perception is not a thing in some points and not being able to miss a coin does make it harder, but for me it wasn’t that hard

So far I have 100% Mario 64 and got all the stars in super Mario Galaxy. Found both easier with pro controller compared to the original controllers in their respective consoles. Not played super Mario sunshine so far.

On the switch Rolling Gizmo is a lot easier because of more sensitive controllers, I think Bubble Blast is harder.

I actually beat this level in my 3rd try on the Luigi version but in the Mario version it took me like 11 try’s I don’t know how I did it I 3 try’s on the Luigi versions but I just got really lucky and clutched it

@@justanerd6851 I agree I didnt find Rolling Gizmi Galaxy that hard tbh it might have took me a few tries but it's all about taking it slow. I was a using a pro controller so all I had to do was sorta rotate it slowly to control the ball. After several tries I got it. This level on the other hand seems like complete hell ngl. Probably the only level I actually struggled on especially when doing it with Luigi for some reason. The ghostly bonepin purple coins wasnt too hard either since you have just enough time to get the coins if you take some of the faster routes when slinging yourself. Its tight but not impossible. With this level dreadnought purple coins you literally sometimes find yourself losing control when the platforms go sideways and upside down. It just feels so weird.
