I think Jim's underestimating Tale of Tinuviel in Limited. Zombifies are really good with the landcyclers, and the indestructible and double lifelink add a lot of extra value. It's a lot of text and it's all good.

The gold player passing to damafe didn’t necessarily mean they didn’t have a trick because they lethal unblocked creatures meant that you had to do something first or die

Smart tip on 14 land + cycles... Arena has mana smoothing programmed in, so I can see going really low on lands and just expecting the single mana from arena

1:11:42 - Viewer asks what happens if you amass while controlling two armies. I didn't see anyone answer this so for those curious the reminder text on amass is as follows: "Amass N (Put N +1/+1 counters on an Army you control. If you don’t control one, create a 0/0 black Zombie Army creature token first.)" As per the reminder text you put the counter on "an Army" so you choose one of your armies as the trigger resolves. Note that this ability does not target the Army which means if you have 2 or more Armies and they have a removal spell they couldn't destroy the one you are buffing to negate the counters. However, in the situation in this video however they could destroy the Army you already controlled so that you're forced to buff the army they will get back.

I got soloed by Pippen one draft. Unfortunately, unlike your masterpiece, I was running 17 lands, so I never drew the 4th land I needed to pay for removal and Pippen's Ward 1.

Balrogs lash should have been taken over the club into the deck, because it destroys creatures and the Impovised club is going to suffer against the big butts of green creatures.

jim needs to go out with style more often. he could've literally clubbed himself in the head to death on that last round for style points and didn't. bad manners imo not to take the shot when you can
