Consuming Tide forces the player to make decisions outside of their usual game play, which can lead to mistakes, or net-negative choices. Great tempo list. Love it, GG Sonio.
amazing how that mono red player managed to rope u out, sad player! likes to win fast playing trash, not letting anyone play magic, but when he sees he going to be milled out he plays slow ahahahah! Love to see aggro decks get milled out 🤣
Conduit of Worlds + Jace every turn is gross, and coupled with cheap tempo instants for the opponents turn, this was FILTHY. That game 3 against mono red was delightful to see lol.
SONIO you are a genious man...crazy combo there with Jace and Tide..did you tried that in BO3?Ι feel with the right sideboard this deck could be kind of unbeatable in BO3
I really enjoy in particular these simic decks that are so offside the meta. I grow so tired day-by-day of the usual Bo1 meta decks, in particular mono-red and soldiers. It's a hard living playing your builds, but at least it's challenging, interesting and engaging. Thanks for all your work.
i feel like this deck could really double down on the land destruction component and punish 3 color decks really hard by looping field of ruin. very cool list!
I'm playing a fight rigging deck in golgari. With 2 Rex and 4 Archfiends as well as 4 Invokes and 4 shakedownheavy. At the scrapgorger and glissa and some removal and you are good. Great deck even in ranked.
Opponent has18 cards left then he drew a bunch of cards with double invoke. Sonio just has to bring Jace back from graveyard and mills the rest of his deck GG :)
@@briansellors194 He was left with two mana open, he was probably hoping to find a second Abrade with the draws to destroy the Conduit of Worlds, If he could find he would have left Sonio in a bad position.
I love playing simic and this deck looks really good. Milling mono red has to be some kind of record. The consuming tide is a very nice reset button. Would you play with any more conduit of the world's after seeing how well it helps mill?
How do I know matchmaker is rigged? First match has mono black with trespasser which though is a great card isn't as common in mono black as it used to be. Scooped wanted to try this out but not against graveyard hate. The very next opponent is city scape leveler + phyrexian portal and invoke justice mono white deck with brilliant restoration just for giggles as cherry on top. So I mill him to two cards he has access to leveler and two bank busters which had extra counters on it sue to previous invoke and did 20 damage on one attack.
