Unfortunately, I was haunted by this deck. I wanted to make it work well. This time I tried Freestrigders. My plan was to bounce opp's creatures and ramp with Freestrigder(compensating the card) buying some time, until we find Titans or Multiverses. I run 2 Rona's Vortex, but then removed one. In general, the deck works well and I am satisfied, but I think Titans and Multiverse are too greedy, we could take 3 Bonny Pall, some Gruff Triplets instead. But I just love Titans and Multiverse. I also love the synergy Kellan+Mirrex+Invasion of Zendikar. It's just amazing.
Tried this deck today with 1 bonny pall instead 1 titan (didn't want to craft a rotating card) and it works pretty well (went 6-4) for a really fun deck. Though it struggles against aggro decks with perfect hand (boros/mono-red/mono-black/mono-white) but what deck doesn't? Love your content Sonio, you're the man ❤
What's your logic when it comes to choosing to mull or not? Do you mull if you don't have any win conditions or too many lands, or when you don't see cards that can be played early game? For me, I get confused sometimes because there are cards that I can play early on, including some removals, but when I don't see any win condition I feel tempted to mull.
I am often surprised you don't target the opponent's stuff with Dopplegang - the idea of killing the mono red opponent with a horde of hasty prowessed red creatures would appeal to me too much...
