Thank you both for cleaning up other peoples mess. It is really vexing when people dump their trash and expect others to clean up after them. 😡. Thank you both again. Stay safe.
I was so angry when I saw what people dump out in the woods then, you two people come along and clean it up. Thank You!! That's the New Hampshire in you two. Lol
Thanks! The amount of trash we see is really heartbreaking. We try to pick up as much trash as we can. We wish less people would litter and more people would clean up after themselves!
I know! And yes, seeing trash everywhere is really disappointing. We try to clean up as much as we can and I wish more people would leave their campsites better than they found them.
I can’t get over your view of Mt Rainer 🤯🤩😍 wow! Your new pots and pans are terrific 👍. Happy Thanksgiving to you both, we are thankful for your wonderful videos and drone shots. 🙏
Some how you guys popped into my orbit, and I'm glad you did! What a wonderful experience you both shared of your Thanksgiving meal! It looked very yummy! And a most wonderful camping spot, the scenery was breathtaking! I thought the mini snowball fight was very cool and playful. Again, thanks for coming into my orbit. I throughly enjoyed this video. Be safe.
Thank you so much! We got lucky with the weather and, yeah, the spot was incredible. Someday we’d love to come back there when it’s warm out. Thank you for watching, we’re glad you enjoy this video!
It is a beautiful area for sure! Scott and I try to clean up as much as we can every time we boondock. The amount of trash we see is heartbreaking! I wish people stopped treating our Mother Nature this way.
Thank you for this. Out of all the videos I’ve seen of RV life, this is actually the first time I seen someone actually doing stuff in their RV. RV life. This was really great to see.
For the life of me when you put those two cans of cranberry sauce in the refrigerator I couldn't figure out why.. both of you.. or HOW both of you eat an entire can of cranberry sauce to yourself... makes perfect sense now...lol... 100% no-questions-asked jelly cranberry sauce...
Haha! I think Scott can easily eat an entire can of cranberry sauce to himself. I prefer the whole cranberry sauce, so we decided to each have our own can. Cranberry sauce is delicious!
We went with the Magma cookware in our truck camper, so far its been performing well. I prefer the jelly cranberry sauce, but my wife makes homemade cranberry sauce. Happy Thanksgiving
We arrived earlier from our Trip to Waxahachie, TX . And back in Miami. And so glad to turn on our Bedrm LED and watch you two. My wife joining me and she agrees; you two are the real deal; " Bad Assess" Love how you strive for great videography regardless of the conditions 🏁🎈🌅🎄Blessings from Miami, FL .
If you are still in the Greenwater area..take a drive up to Crystal Mountain Ski Resort at the end of the highway where they close off the hwy 410. Its a 6 mile drive up from the highway to the resort. (Paved) If you ski...best place in the state.
Mighty impressed with the junk cleanup. Not impressed with the slobs who left it. We've been up there many times in our camper. Brings back memories. Sometimes it's the simple day to day treats like a nice meal on the road which make life enjoyable.
Very true! And yes, seeing trash everywhere is very sad. We try to clean up as much as we can and I wish more people would leave their campsites better than they found them.
Eating good in the neighborhood, where ever that may be. ❤️ It’s a local thing for me but I’d add sauerkraut. 😉 I’m thankful for you and your neat channel. My wife would have really enjoyed your sunset. 💕
Cranberry jelly, Thanksgiving isn't Thanksgiving without that noise. LOL Also cranberry jelly is just that perfect topping for that late night turkey sandwich.
Welcome to Washington, my home state. Now you can see why I live here in the mountains. Yes, I know it rains 9 months out of the year, but when it is not raining it is a beautiful place to live. God bless and have a safe and happy holiday. Russ & Keira
I ordered those pans, and use them in my camper for a few months now. (I live in rv full time in PA) I LOVE THEM. I love how much space I save. I honestly do not think I need an extra handle. But that’s ok.
We’ve loved the winter truck camper series and we’ve anxiously awaited each new vid. Our 2022 DRW Duramax will be here in December/January then we’ll get a camper and hit the road. But for now, we’re enjoying a vicarious truck camper adventure. Thank You Sasha and Scott!
Thanks for joining in our little adventures. I've been looking at the Chevy/GMC offerings and I really like what I see. Their new generation is really nice! You must be excited!
Please, go to StoryBlocks and Epidemic sound, find your selections and send them to me at info@stonyboot.com. I can not stress enough how difficult music selection is. With the time constrains of making a weekly video, sometimes I forgo music or find something that is "good enough". I already get bogged down in perfectionism and would welcome some musical input. I try to find selections for each video, broken down in to different moods and energy levels.
Awesome that you picked up that trash. My family used to live in Issaquah, Washington and we would take camping trips to Mt. Rainier. Beautiful scenery.
Mt. Rainier is gorgeous! We try to leave camp spots cleaner than we find them. Unfortunately, some spots have bulky trash like old tires and mattresses that we can’t deal with.
If you smoke turkeys rub them down with bacon grease or some kind oil and put the hickory in one time at the beginning and add no more . It will come out a great looking bird just golden brown with that pink when you slice it and green hickory works the best !
Your location so beautiful it's surreal! Stunning drone video. Cooked cranberries gel more than I expected. Berries, oranges, ginger, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup... the end result starts out sweet, comes in midway with the ginger kick, and finishes mellow.
When you say going into town are y’all going to Enumclaw? I can’t imagine any of the little “towns” there having enough rv amenities. Perfect spot. Will need to roll by there sometime
I really enjoyed this video and am happy that you both are safe and warm. I am thankful that I am sitting in my nice warm home watching you. My husband and I spent many years camping in a 5th wheel rv in the west. We sold our rv last year because we are now in our late 70s and didn't feel safe pulling a big rig anymore. Miss the travels tho so really enjoy your stories.
I totally disagree with people throwing there waste in the woods. So many great BLM landmarks were shut down because of waste. Thank you guys so much for helping to clean it up. We do the same. We try to leave sights cleaner then what we found them in. I appreciate you both. Thank you for sharing this great video.
I have come to greatly dislike the over-use of the word epic ... but it definitely applies here. You two truly found the most EPIC boondocking spot I have ever seen! Loved the whole episode. Truly impressive that you manage so nicely in tight quarters but it speaks about the good design of your truck camper. And maybe about agreeable personalities too ;). You wouldn't be able to have that spot with a big travel trailer, fifth wheel, or Class A. A proof point of the adage that "Sometimes less is more!" Well done!
Haha 😂, I agree, Epic has become overused! However, in a situation like this, I think it does apply. We drove up there in the rain/snow/fog and were pleasantly surprised with the location. I got the drone up just as the sun was coming over the adjacent mountains and it was incredible! We do get along well most of the time, but of course, tight quarters leads to frustration. Having constant rain and mud is also a challenge in a small camper. But, it affords us experiences that we can't get at a campground. Less is more, and once we get to drier weather, we will be doing our "spring cleaning" to get rid of any clutter that has accumulated. We have many items that we MIGHT need, and after 2 years, it's probably safe to ditch them.
Happy thanksgiving folks. Our Canadian thanksgiving is in October but it’s nice to share yours with us. It looked so warm and cozy in your camper and a nice hearty dinner and now you have left overs too. Seeing what your life is like your camper(home) is heartwarming and home is where the heart is. That’s a beautiful spot there and what a beautiful view. I’ve just covered my camper for the winter and winterized it. And congratulations on getting on the cover of truck camper magazine I’ll be ordering a copy soon 🇺🇸🇨🇦
Happy belated Thanksgiving! We've had a hard time keeping up with comments lately! You mentioned that it looks cozy, and, it is! Cooking all that food in a small camper makes it smell amazing and makes it much warmer than we normally keep it. It's a nice side effect of cooking 🧑🍳 However, we have to keep the vent's on to keep the camper dry and not too hot! We were excited about the winning the TCM Calendar Contest!!! It's all thanks to our RU-vid and Instagram family!
To me, there wasn't anything not perfect about your Thanksgiving. I will say I think the pots and pans you got are something I will look into for myself! Looking forward to hearing how you guys feel about them after more time has passed but they seem to be just right for your needs. Happy Belated Thanksgiving. Blessings!
Thank you so much!! So far our pots and pans have been working out great. We got used to the handle and we absolutely love the way they stack. We will do an update in a few months to see how they’re holding up though!
Thanksgiving thanks for sharing mine was awful I Undercooked the Turkey and and the potatoes didn’t cook well in the turkey. By the way thanks for sharing your turkey with us and don’t use a cheese knife on the turkey next time to carve it lol
Yeah ... I like fixin' a piece of turkey rather than the whole bird ... 'was going to have a special dry cereal and ice cream for my Thanksgiving meal this year if I hadn't been invited by a friend to her place .... 'usually have ice cream either at Thanksgiving or Christmas ☃️
Making a piece is much easier for us in a small oven. Also, we can't eat an entire bird on our own!!! I'm glad you got the invite from your friend, it's nice to have a social Thanksgiving. We spent Thanksgiving day with our friends too! I hope you had a great holiday and Ice Cream is a personal favorite, anytime of year!
11:00 You can never have too many mushrooms. Looking forward to your "Just Campers Cookin' Food" channel. And the GBBO at the end was nice. Did you see the finale yet? Another excellent ep, guys!
Haha! Exactly, there are never too many mushrooms! And yes, we did watch the finale. We were kinda disappointed that Jurgen didn’t make it to the finals. He was our favorite!!Giuseppe deserved the first place too though!
You drove up the mountain in a dually. YT is filled right now with folks singling out their dually trucks with military tires. They say that they really can't go much off road with out them. It does not seem to stop you folks. Have you considered singling out? If so, why do you choose to remain with the dual tires. I am giving serious consideration to moving to a large truck camper from a class A gas 35-footer due to the ease of driving and versatility and hopefully better gas mileage. Amazing video. Travel Safe. Henri (RVing with Henri)
If you think about it, 90% of all the power lines, water lines, highways, etc are built using dually trucks. They do not perform as well as SRW trucks, but can still get you where you need to go. I'd love to go with Super Singles, but right now it's not in the budget. I'm looking into them and if I can find a deal or get a sponsor, I'd definitely go that route. We do have some new plans and projects coming this spring, but it's a little too early to know how everything will come together. Stay tuned. I could go a little farther with a winch, Super Singles and no bike rack. That might be our future, but for now, I'll keep testing the limits of our current rig!
Thank you! It was a great spot with an incredible view. And we're hoping our pots and pans will last us awhile. We will have to post an update in the future.
