* SIZING TIPS & REVISIONS :*
If you're a very tight crocheter, you may want to go up a hook size.
* Ladies Average: G 4.0 mm hook for Cap Portion & approx. 6" diameter, after Rnd 6. Band & 1st Row of Brim in F 3.75 mm. Complete Brim in G 4.0 mm. Finishing Rnd. up one hook sz.
* Youth/Sm. Teen (does NOT apply for Ladies Sm. anymore): F 3.75 mm hook for Cap, Band & first round of Brim. Complete brim in G 4.0 Finishing slip stitch round, in G+ 4.5 mm.
* Men's Average-to-Large: G+ (US 7) 4.5 mm for the cap portion, and add a 12th round of regular V-sts. Go down to a G 4.0 mm for the band & first round of brim. Complete brim in G+ 4.5 mm. Finishing Round, in H 5.0 mm hook.
