TR Hamza Bro this was a mad one mad love the M140i Content vro what a beast of a Car this is man parked next to the RS3 that livery on there beings back so many memories from the Audi S1 Rally man you got some Sick cars bro should race the M140i vs RS3 that could be an interesting video maybe
Come on bro you never used launch😑 push brake as hard as u can, quickly push accelerator so it touches the kick down, then the race flag will appear 🏁 ....then it'll hold at 3k
Start in 2nd, 1500rpm, ZF slips a bit more and helps the initial traction, torque pulls you through. For me it helps reduce the difference between rear and front wheel speed, so traction shouldn’t cut power compared to starting in 1st (where it lights them up/cuts power) I had 2mm tread Supersports warm not hot and it digged well using the above method with 500ftbs👍🏻
Those laughs. I can see Your car keeps you smiling. Great vids man. Nice pov plus swapping to you back and forth. Great content talking about general car stuff. Top man
Decent time, got an M140i xdrive. No traction loss so I get a low 4 second time even standard. I reckon this is gonna be a beast at stage2 with xdrive!
Mate the best thing about watching your vids is your inability of holding back that smile youre just dying to let out 😁😁😁 to be honest id be smiling like a kid if i were driving that 😂
Should try holding in 2nd gear from stationary. Mine feels quicker starting in second as first just seems to spin away the power. Some people have reported better 1/4 mile times starting in 2nd too.
He wasn't launching it though, ypuv gotta wait for the launch sign to pop up an then it holds its revs at 3k....so just flooring it no launch and still being in the 4s is decent
Have the same with the stage 1 (410hp and 600Nm of torque) , stage 1 is perfect to keep the car in good shape and to drive safely. Keep in mind that the chassis has to keep the performance .
Can you try some 0-60 runs using the race time app ? I’ve been using the app and I’m not sure how accurate my results are. Be interesting to see against the draggy app.
When it’s uphill the slope doesn’t matter mate it will validate it still , downhill doesn’t let you have more than 1.00% because obv that would help a lot
Once the time isn’t faster than with stock power it’s a sign that the Software tune hasn’t been done properly - not done to be effective in real world condition Has the torque been limited / adjusted in gear 1 & 2 ?
Really want one of these now. Surprised by what you said about it being thirsty though, most reviews I've seen comment on how surprisingly economical it is and can average 28 MPG. I'm currently averaging 23 in a GTI and I don't drive aggressively.
If you don’t drive aggressively you should be ok as the ZF8 box always keeps the revs low as it’s always shifting up. However, the torque is addictive on these so it’s quite easy for the economy to drop significantly when pushing on
God guy you all have nice models compared to Canada. Love how wagons and hatches are king elsewhere and we have to live with the fact car makers don't ship European wagons to north america cause the Americans don't like them enough ....but I'm Canadian !!! I want an estate car with sports suspensions and growls
Done a 3.75 verified to 60 in mine similar spec and M-performance LSD, PS4’s. Don’t bother with launch control it’s crap. Traction fully off & manual shift. Slight brake boost and change up as soon as you start loosing traction.
By slight brake boost I mean as soon as you kick down and feel the car sink release. Any longer and you’ll just leave about £10 worth of rubber behind you.
@@TheWorldboy88 because I’ve got a stage 2 one myself. First gear is too short and breaks traction too much. Cars got enough torque to set off in second gear the first one is a waste of time. Timed draggy runs too 0-60 in 3.7 seconds doing this
@@Muzzaa dont understand me wrong but those cars are complete opossite from each other. Golf r is Just a blown up 4cil wich u probably can tune to max 500hp and have an ak47 in the back that is farting all the time. Now the 140i on the other side has a great engine.. probaly one of the best of bmw's latest engines People have tuned it to 750hp.. (on the xdrive model btw) and its Just a lot of quality for you money. Of course everyone likes something else and thats ok otherwise the world would be boring but if you had to make a choice between an golf r and a 140i, i would go for the bmw without a doubt.
My stock shadow edition drinks fuel. Even if you drive them steady it's bad enough. When you give it some right foot for just a few miles your fuel needle moves. A lot. Then again you don't buy these things for good mpg!
Your RS3 reminds me of jamieFYD one. The M140 is surprising for its speed and value for money. Just hate it that these are more for me to insure than other cars which are faster 🙄
@@matty6848 not sure really. People say it may be because people crash them due to being RWD. I live in London so that might be a factor but I found Audi RS6 and I believe RS3s to be cheaper for me to insure
Just a thought, have you tried fully comp? It's cheaper for me anyway, no idea why. I've always gone TPFT, getting an m140i soon but driving a 10 year old 325d for now which is 400 per year, 2017 hot hatches like Seat Leon cupra's, golf R's all around £500...m140i £1400. Then changed to fully comp and down to £520 😳 No idea why. Just turned 25 as well which makes a big difference. FYI the other cars only go up around £100 per year fully comp too
