As someone who's most complicated redstone usage is an observer watching sugarcane grow and telling a piston to break it, this type of stuff feels like trying to make a squirrel comprehend a black hole
0 tick redstone amazes me even more than normal redstone, the stuff you can build with this is insane and I hope your channel can grow much more in the future
I can't even begin to understand how you were able to come up with that top piston layout, much less the wiring. You truly are a genius. Also, I love how the pistons that appear in the middle row of the walls just disappear. No idea how something like that is even possible without the use of things like headless pistons, but you somehow did it anyway. Really cool piston door overall, amazing work 👍
A lot of Americans (ONLY ever Americans) don't understand that. The way I try to explain it to them is that speaking without an accent is like typing without a font - it doesn't make any sense.@@GrimlandCS
Very cool! I'd be very interested in how you'd make a 3x3 door with end rods in front pointing towards the centre. As in, you have a 3x3, then the blocks in front of it have a + shape of 4 end rods and a centre block. I believe they're called either the "bank vault" piston door, or "true vault" piston door. I don't think a zero-tick design currently exists.
That looks, sounds, feels and *is* insane! On a surface level it might just feel like a needlessly overcomplicated way to make a 5x3, but it's in reality an extremely impressive showcase of a very cool ''exploit,'' which we might as well call tech at this point.
I don't consider myself a stupid person, but this kind of overengineered mechanisms of Redstone make me seriously reconsider about it. Excelent design, you are a man with huge skills.
the fact that this can be broken so easily just because a piston is placed in a different spot is insane, I cant imagine how much time it would take to fix that stuff for this to work
That is awesome.. you redstone masters are just completely beyond me, the most complicated stuff I can make is like stacking playing blocks compared to this
In physics we like to call what you were doing for a second there, "Chirality" 5:06. It's the reason why we life forms can't exist in a "mirror" universe. Our proteins can't function if they're flipped around. But you corrected the function afterwards to make it work witch is interesting!
Just curious, do you think that the copper bulb with its one-block flip mechanic, and its ability to change blockstate every 1 game tick would enhance or compact this build in any way?
It could, 1.21 has added /tick, so he doesn't have to use a mod for that anymore, and changing the tick and freezing time is very useful with fast or 0 tick machines, so he could probably use 1.21 with the copper bulbs without waiting for his mods to update to 1.21
It’s gonna be useful in ither stuff but not this. Also I’ll probably keep mostly using the mods, because they offer other stuff as well like smooth piston movements
I think tick speed in vanilla is great for the novice redstoners that are trying to figure out why their thing isn't doing what they thought it would do. Advanced redstoners would be using the mod, the in-game command is just there to be a gateway for those that don't know about or don't want to go so far as trying a mod
I didn't understand a single thing about this, but it makes me want to write about how utilizing bugs/programming quirks kinda look like magic from a certain perspective.
way wayyyyy above my head haha, not knowing all the terms even, but crazy to see the work put into a door just to get it 0tick/instant/as fast as possible
Avogaado thank you so much for your videos. I grew up solely on bedrock and always envied java redstone. I finally got a computer to explore the insane possibilities of Java; i finished a 3x3 noteblock center activated door that took roughly 80 hours of problem solving. It was a challenge since i had a redstone block above the noteblock and a upwards facing piston below the noteblock for the door. .45 opening .45 closing (i think) with the noteblock ending up in the ceiling to reactivate. I would love to see someone else attempt this and make it better. I would also be happy to share the world file
the funny thing is. about 8 years ago i played on a minecraft server where a lot of payers build "war gears". TNT cannon monsters fighting each other. an this was fun and so until some of the best builders on the server builded 1 tick tnt canons.. automatic that fired like 50 shots at once and won the fight on the spot... for me it was impressive to destroy 20 blocks deep endstone with 20 tnt: that was a perfect shot, but after this 1 tick automatic canons existed the whole conecept was ruined and in the end it was just gone :) still enjoyed every minute building my stupid tnt canons
I would love to see more piston doors where the door blocks aren’t visible after opening, like a seamless door using different blocks in the door than the wall or floor
What. I think I understand more from explanation on how SciCraft crew made it possible to crate any block in the game by makeing game smash code of two different blocks together.
Yeah? Well I made most of a 1 wide tileable design for furnaces to burn kelp and *not* waste fuel! (Amazing job, while I prefer the 1-wide niche this is amazing stuff)
