As a beginner have fun and quickly switch off. Let a painting emerge that lets you feel vastness and promises lightness. Without a plan in mind and paint intuitively. The turquoise carries my thoughts immediately into the distance. When painting it reminds me of a lagoon. Then I add the highly pigmented red-brown and it looks like rust. Like a tarnishing copper plate where verdigris plays its game. With white it is a color play with beautiful contrasts. Your thoughts and feelings you can dip in paint and paint on the canvas. Exuberantly scribble lines or write the words that move you. So I first drove with the pen over the canvas and it developed a work of art that could not follow a plan. Again, you can nurture your creativity and learn about layered painting with lots of experimentation. I used liquid acrylic paint. You can thin your paint with a little water so you can pour it sometimes. If you still have pour paint, use that. The window squeegee is my squeegee. So you can use household tools to implement spatula techniques. I use the foil to blend the transitions and they become soft. Dive into the world of colors and let yourself be carried away. Just start with this work of art. And change your life ;) So: grab your canvas and get out your acrylic paint! ;) Many emails reach me asking for materials.
