A quick-hitting snow system hit the Detroit area on Sunday. This heavy snow caused major travel troubles on the Detroit freeways. Numerous accidents occurred due to the heavy snow and snowy roads. A quick 2-4" fell across parts of the Detroit Metro area.

Here is a driving tip or 2 ...turn on your freaking headlights so people can see you, leave at least 6 second gap in bad weather and slow the heck down!!

Yes! Please don't ride on top of the car in front of you ppl! Its not going to make your trip any quicker especially if you rear end them. That makes me so nervous because if I'm driving slower its because I don't feel comfortable doing the speed limit or going faster. I usually stay in the slow lane and if I'm particularly nervous I turn my flashers on so oncoming traffic is aware yes im going slow and no I'm not going to speed up
