Thinking back to this concert; 3 or sometimes 4 guitars, the occasional banjo, 5 great voices, no drums or keyboards and a quality sound which filled the Albert Hall.
Now that's the Music that Was jamming when ( We) all were beginning to rebel ( even before ) ( Wallace) ( We) the ( People) were coming together as One.
Both girls had beautiful voices , Eve’s was more powerful. I was in ‘ love’ with Lyn , like many other guys and was very fortunate to have met her , when she was on the SS Canberra, on her honeymoon . What a beautiful lady.
I love Eve Graham and she was drop-dead gorgeous. She tries to get that plaintive quality of Melanie Safka and almost gets there, but there was only one Miss Melanie.
Interesting comparison - but one was Scottish, the other was American. Not sure I get the connection here. i doubt Eve Graham would even have heard of Melanie Safka.
Actually, I think she says, 'I'm supposed to be a violin' - Lyn's outrageous falsetto vocal in that verse is meant to be an approximation of the violin solo on the studio version.
