My gosh, the welding on that press. Cool rivet tool though.

The riveting is coming on really nice and the method works very effectively, I think the bolt could have had a bit more of a chamfer on the outer edge so it didn't scrape the inside radius of the angle. At least it is not going to be seen so doesn't matter too much

My thoughts exactly... the chamfer can be added later if needed... I was trying to leave as much of the original bolt as possible. The Chef

G’day Andy that was a good vlog, when you soldered your axel horns I’ve made the same bracket as you how did you set them up in the jig. I have two that Iam going to do again and I think I didn’t set them up wright last time. The rivet press is terrific and thank you very much for explaining to me how you make it, thank you again regards John

Ok this is weird.. was working out how to do this to make a die for the arbor press last night lol. That's a few times you've put up a relevant video hours after I'm looking at how to do something on this build.

Sounds more like an 'old stock' inch size rivet, 5/16" or 11/32" head maybe? Now Britain is out of EU, you can return to real measurements. 'About 19mil' is really 3/4" 😁

Think they are closer to 5/16"... 8mill bull nose cutter is just too small.... 9mm way too big. The Chef

@@ThisModelEngineersWorkshop I used to use Tracey Tools in Devon and got some weird sized things I didn't think possible. (including threaded end mills for the Clarkeson holder on my mill 'at home') Pretty sure they will have 5/16" and 11/32" ball end/bull-nose mills at a reasonable price?

You might want to pick up the pace on the commentary. Less talk more action. People have very short attention spans and will click off relatively quickly. The video is very good. Good luck.

I'll take that on board... thanks. The Chef
