We re-collet (re-mount) a clock wheel that was mounted out-of-flat and eccentrically. I was asked in the comments whether the collet could be fitted friction fit (like a modern clock) and the answer is yes, or at least to use a Loctite* type material. No problem. I suppose the aim of the video is primarily to warn against moving the collet on old clocks and secondly, to demonstrate the type of methods the old collets were fitted in the first place. I'd be perfectly happy to make the collet a closer fit and use modern adhesive.
