Do any of you know how hard it is handle a fully charged 2and 1/2 line? Sitting on the bumper gives more stability. It is like trying to move 200 pounds of unruly concrete!
I have the code 3 Model of SQ61..very nice...and i feel you on the 2-1/2 inch line bro...i like using the 1-3/4 speedlays...but when its a bigger job...well you just need more water, and it can take a lot out of you
All that water. All that equipment. All that personnel and the fire keeps on burning unabated. Could it be the straight streams that cover such a small area that it lets the rest of the material keep burning? The vast majority of the water just laying on the floor! At least they showed up!
@JB1710 It's a Taxpayer fire JB. They are poorly constructed buildings with the life hazard at this fire being to that of the firefighters, not civilians. Collapse is a real concern in these buildings with a fire of this magnitude and extent. In such instances, the sidewalk is considered within the collapse zone. Would you disagree?
