That's some great progress. I agree with doing all this stuff ahead of time before the VMP goes on, but I'm really looking forward to that! Also I feel like I'm going to have to redo my FTBR kit in mine. When it was up in the air for the exhaust install the bushings were beat. It was road raced so the bushings took some abuse. I"m not 100% sure if the grease fittings were installed either. I'm going to get under the car today and check that out as well. It's awesome seeing your project move along like it is.
Did i see a haze/ dent on the passenger quarter panel? I hope it was just the lighting and angle. Such a clean car, I immediately thought oh no someone dinged his car.
No, that’s a smudge from someone touching the car. I noticed that in the video too. The is 1 ding on the top of the passenger front fender and a light crease /dent on the driver side rear quarter panel that is very difficult to see. Both from the previous owner. Other than that I can’t remember any other dents or dings
I actually left mine off on accident but I stuffed enough shims in there that it makes up for the space it left wothout the mount brackets. I’ve taken them off all my GT’s and Bullitt with no issues. I guess we’ll see.
Quick question if I wanna change my bushings and I really don’t know what Im doing should I get a professional to do it for me? And how much you think they’ll charge for labor?
Thats a difficult question. It wasn't very easy. It put up a fight. If you aren't totally comfortable then have a shop do it. I can't imagine the charge though. I would expect a thousand or so with labor charges these days.
Justin SVT dang man. Thats alot and I was thinking around that price range. You think it’ll be easier just learning it myself and doing it to save money? Or just spend to be on the safe side
