Used to install garage doors. You dont want it that snug (obviously as you can tell), you want it just against the door. It's a garage door, you won't get it airtight and you would be surprised at how well it seals and holds out inclement weather with it juuuuuust touching the door when you nail up the trim. Edit: I paused the video and commented before watching the rest of it lol. My apologies.

Brad nails work best, if you have a brad nailer. Quick and they're also easy to remove without leaving gaping holes. Overhead Door Technician, I do this daily.
