I got a 4 motion sportwagen and I wouldn’t mention an RS3 in the same breath as a GTI or my car even with an IS38 swap. RS3s are basically 4 door crotch rockets. They sound like crotch rockets, and with stage 1 they move like crotch rockets. Our cars will NEVER be that unless you RS3 swapped it…. But there’s about 40,000-60,000 reasons why it’s a dumb idea. Main one being you could get a low mileage 2020 RS3 with an extended warranty out to 85k miles and have all the benefits of the swapped golf but with a warranty for almost the exact same price as JUST the swap. A swap Which will leave you with no warranty, and a car that 99% of mechanics won’t even touch when you have an issue and 99% of people wouldn’t buy from you anywhere NEAR what you paid to have it done when you go to sell. RS3 swapped stuff is lotto money, I burn it in a pile to keep warm or wipe my ass with it because is means nothing to me.
